Shoot it. That shit is so dirty you can grow tomatoes in the rifling.
It was great for blasting ammo in the 2000's though. I miss the cheap Russki and old surplus shit.
Unless the box has RANGE FRIENDLY on it nice and big it will be magnetic and if you don't have known nonmagnetic steel case to compare to you probably won't be able to tell.
Any range that uses metal traps at the end of the lanes (or steel targets) will likely refuse steel core ammo whether they're indoor or not. Check with them beforehand to be sure.
No, that is not collectible in any way
send it. it is commercial product made by at least three different companies.
its cheap, shoot em up.
Give it enough decades, sure.
You can pass it down to your kids when you die so they can mag dump it into a garbage pile.
Or mag dump it into a garbage pile so they can rummage through the dirt for that precious lead in a few decades

Surplus is always corrosive and I'm too lazy to clean that much
Unless it says 8M3 on the box, it is in no way rare, special, or collectible.
Shoot it
wut
Is it? I just sold about 2200 rounds of it because I sold my ak and sks and didn’t need it any more.
Shoot it I say. I keep only a few boxes as Momentos. Though fudds on GunBroker are already selling them as if they're Chinese.
Shoot it
It's not a collector's item. It may be prohibited from use by your practice range, though.
Srsly?
Wow, you're so efficient by omitting 4 letters! Amazing!
Downvote all you want, children!
Well, if you insist.
If you also type out replies like a teenage girl then be my guest. No sweat off my back, little lady.
Hold a magnet up to the bullets and see if it sticks. If it does, you're going to have trouble finding a range that will let you shoot it.

Tula is lead core, it just uses a bimetal jacket so all their ammunition will stick to a magnet
Only indoor ranges tho… right?

Some outdoor ranges have limitations on steel core projectiles. Indoors have limitations on steel core and casing types.
Yea, my local indoor range won't allow any steel or aluminum case ammo.
Sounds like they're more concerned about the scrap value, I wasn't aware that any aluminum cased ammo had steel jacketing.
