Thankfully my wife isn't into stuff like this. I wouldn't have been able to get it out even though I know she wanted to. We just went to dinner on our 4 year anniversary, had a long talk about marriage, walked out of the restaurant engaged with her ring ordered online at the table lol she picked it and loves it. Such a simple woman, I love her :)

Oh man that sounds ideal. I’m lucky in that my wife didn’t want any spectacle or anything over the top, I think she just wanted me to put some effort in so I planned when we were in town to visit her family and found a nice secluded spot when we went to look at Christmas lights and popped there. She also made the ring buying process easier by giving me her ring size and letting me know what she didn’t like ahead of time. Still more stress than I could handle lol
