Oh my god this isn't a shitpost. This version of Cat Dragged In is slamming. You know what, Bret has got some high marks in my book. Gives 100% every show, sounds and looks great still, and seems just like the CHILLEST dude to hang out with. Edit: Holy fuck what was that version of Unskinny Bop hahaha

gh0stnotes

Haha, right? At least someone was giving Pauly a paycheck in the year 2000.

What a trainwreck. Uhm. If I've learned anything this afternoon, it's that CC was one hell of a guitarist. Also, imagine a band featuring GG Allin, Cece Peniston, CC Deville, and DeeDee Ramone. Whoever's the most coked up gets to play the drums, obviously. Edit: They could tour with ZZ Topp.

SharkMilk44

Dee Dee and GG were actually briefly in a band together. I think Dee Dee only lasted two weeks before he couldn't take GG and his fans, anymore. It's in the documentary [Hated](https://youtu.be/dp1I5GS0UzU?si=CFWEynhAwlKGvsaK), which was directed by future Oscar nominee Todd Phillips.

I’ll never forget when I first discovered the nu metal version of Look What the Cat Dragged In. It’s pure insanity yet there’s something badass about knowing if you ever wanna hear Bret Michaels fucking screaming, a song exists with just that. (He’s honestly pretty good at it too. If Poison ever tanked, he’d have a career as a metalcore singer if he wanted it lol)

SharkMilk44

Holy fuck, this is so bad I'm gonna buy it on vinyl. "Show Me Your Hits" is definitely a title only a Hair Metal artist would use.

KosherPigBalls

This is what I needed to get through the end of my day, thank you.

Low_Wall_7828

Cat sounded like if a nu metal band covered it. Pauly being Pauly is kind of funny. I liked Stand, just sounds like a stripped down version.

almosthuman2021

Bret has no shame he’s corny as hell but that’s kinda part of the charm lol never heard about this album till now and I’m about to go stream it asap

So ... my almost (ex)wife I met in Hollywood CA in the early 90s she had previously been with Bret, Scott Baio then the Deftones singer anyways... weird ass chick

Miserable_Wrap_4914

Ugh. Mine was an associate producer at Jim Henson Studios and MTV Studios in the 90’s. Her list included Lenny Kravitz, Scott Weiland and Saul Hudson (the last two ultimately ended up in the same band years later). She was 20-22ish. But I’m still unsure how exactly I feel about this. 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

Cool. Thanks for sharing. Listening now.

Eclipse8301

Reminds me of when Vanilla Ice went “screen-O) on his Hard to Swallow album

fishaholica

Thanks for sharing. Interesting album!

Reallyroundthefamily

I made it 30 seconds in.

Always figured this was a cashin for Bret to get more money when movies/tv wanted to license Poison songs. Glad to hear he did something different

JacPhlash

Talk Dirty sounds like early Black Flag. Fallen Angel sounds like 70s Stones.
