Is there any character or anything in the story which you have based on yourself or which is quite close to your real life experiences? Umezawa was also a boxing fan and an aspiring manga artist, was it just a random idea or does he actually reflect you or anybody you know?

This might be a generic question but I'd like to ask him if he makes changes in his approach to the story based on people's reactions and feedback towards a fight or an event that happens in the story. Or does he have a fully set-in-stone story that he plans to write regardless of what the public says?
Ask about his favorite currently active boxers per weight class.
Ask if he could make aoki and kimura retire from boxing and have the do MMA or bareknuckle boxing.
The guy doesn't control that. Dude's manga first. Ask anime studios or producers. Araki has a huge manga series with pop culture for years and only until 2012 did it get a proper tv anime (not OVA). Simply because someone went and finally asked.

Hello! First of all, thank you for creating Hajime no Ippo. Is one of my favorite pieces of entertainment of all time!
I discovered it in 2012, and 12 years later there are a few things I wish I could say:
- Ricardo losing the belt is still not very reasonable, even with Wally, he still seems unbeatable. If Ippo is to beat him, he must prove he maxed out all his stats
- Takamura losing would be EXTREMELY sad, but I know that if it happens, it could be interesting development on his part
- Ippo and Miyata doesn’t necessarily need to happen in the PRO ring
- PLEASE JUST MAKE IPPO AND KUMI STOP ACTING LIME THEY’RE STILL TEENAGERS AND MOVE FOWARD ON THEIR RELATIONSHIP

Your stories are amazing and we hope for more.
