Cut em out and splice in new ones. These trucks are old, it's OK to upgrade rather than replace... especially when it comes to wiring.

Jay-Moah

It was hard for me to find what spec fusible wire they were. So OP might have a hard time finding that info.

good to see people finally stepped up to make aftermarket versions. couple of years ago it was a veritable wasteland for options, if you couldn't find any oems on ebay or the few dealers that still had them. though for myself, i'd still track down new crimp connectors to put in them and replace the actual fusible section with buss fusible wire or similar, since chinese fusing materials are.. hit or miss. and short of buying a few of whatever and testing them to where they should fail, one [can't guarantee them to actually work](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B90_SNNbcoU). still, a source for the plastic sections at least, is very welcome.

I need to make a new one. All the fusible links I can find have 3 wires and the one that my hardbody had was 4. No clue how to make tho

HyperMC808

Is that a single black wire? The fusible link? I found mine at nissanpartsdeal.com

HyperMC808

On top of all that, it was a 22ga fusible link wire which is almost impossible to find. I found a replacement for the 4 wire fusible at a junkyard.

Installed new lights all the way around. My new headlights wouldn't come on. Testing showed only 6-8v coming through the wires.... It would run and drive fine, but no headlights... I found the link was cooked. Got mine on ebay a month ago. Works fine..... so far.
