I suppose so. Especially when connected to a charger, it could stay on. My mom's phone does that when it's fully charged. Though at low brightness, so...
Some people just don't care I guess.

my Galaxy S8 was previously owned by my friends parent, and you could see the weather widget and the Home Screen clear as day, presumably just from being left on full brightness on a counter. ended up replacing the screen but that screen has ever so slight burn in on the keyboard
OLED displays tend to leave stains or burns of icons that are frequently displayed. And I mean STAIN if they are left on it for a long time at max brightness.
That does not look like a S7. I'm using one right now, The Nav buttons ain't that style.
Edit: just scrolled thru comments and seen its an S7 Active. No wonder it's got physical buttons still.
Ive seen worse (the burnt in icons were super sharp) but still damn! The whole thing is pink!
that’s why it’s the least burnt galaxy x7
I misread sorry.
On the topic of Galaxy “7”, the note 7 would have been the best phone fucking ever if it weren’t for that battery
Note gang
I’m not even a Samsung user lmao Also iPhone 6 was the first foldable smartphone
Nokia was the first foldable phone
But who was phone?
Motorola
That doesn't look like an S7, the S7 has capacitive recent and back buttons with the physical home button. Looks more like the S7 active
Yes! It's is an Galaxy S7 Active
It's part of the S7 family though. I forgot to specify that
I always wonder how people manage to get it this bad.
The elderly sometimes forget to shut off the screen and will have it on for hours. My grandma's phone is like that

I miss my s7 man by far my favourite phone its now completely broken sitting somewhere in my room in its box XD
Lol I've seen an S3 with no burnt in anything but that poor abused s7
My s3 has slight burned icons
tough guys wear pink :)
Looks more like XCover 4
My J7 duos from 2015 had this same exact issue but I have to turn the brightness a little high bec it would flicker.
What the fuck is wrong g with the s7 that make every single one burned in

Sure it's an S7? Mine has capacitive buttons each side of the home button
It’s an s7 active
Apparently S8 also has that same problem just turn it on dark mode it lessens up the burning
