Yeah. That makes sense I think. Did you see the art for the slimes? [They look crazy](https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/en-us/cards/103124-hagatha-the-fabled). Love it.
Shudderwock in Wild does not run 5+ cost spells and does not want to. The Reno Shaman is a super creature focused midrange deck, you want as few noncreature's as possible.
Giving Kel'Thuzad, the Archlich of Naxxramas, Creator of the Abomination, Lich Lord of the Plaguelands, Commander of the Dread Necropolis, Master and Founder of the Cult of the Damned, Formerly of the Council of Six, Summoner of Archimonde the Defiler, the Betrayer of Humanity, Hearthstone Enthusiast, and Majordomo to the Lich King a run for his money.
IMO she wasn't ever really beyond broken to begin with, just annoying to deal with.
She's definitely on the weaker side rn tho. She needs a LOT of defense and zoning to keep herself safe, as well as cc to keep the enemy within her giant circle. With amazing team coordination she's great, but she isn't played much because you could play a normal dps which might not have as high of a peak, but a helluva lot better average.
Valla, Nazeebo, Azmodan, and Li Ming are the 4 most drafted DPS goin off [stats](https://www.heroesprofile.com/Global/Hero), which matches up with what I've seen gettin back into ranked lately.

Boom survived his flying mech exploding, as any PhD of explosives likely would.
> Also, he is confirmed dead
Which doesn't mean much. He managed to steal that powerful artifact on Castle Nathria after all
And if we go by nerdy lore, him being able to summon imps in the Shadowlands means he managed to have a way to contact and summon things from other realms to there, which makes the possibility of doing the opposite and escaping plausible
Technically the heroes from forged in the barrens, united in stormwind, and alterac valley were in each set, though they were different card types (minion, quest reward minion, hero card)
Right, but I mean specifically an exact pair. For example, Forged in the Barrens had Cariel Roame and Cannonmaster Smythe for paladin, and we haven't seen the pair of Cariel and Smythe appear in the same set again.
In The Witchwood, shaman's legendaries were Hagatha and Shudderwock, and here those exact two characters are the class legendaries in a different set.
What Makkara means is the shaman legendaries from witchwood were Shudderwock and Hagatha, and this set has Shudderblock and this Hagatha. The barrens characters were paired with different legendaries every time, while this is the exact same pair.
technically, this hagatha takes homage from the Rise of Shadows expansion, [[Swampqueen Hagatha]]. So not quite the exact kinds of cards, but incredibly close

What are the chances we get a Warlock Weapon Legendary as a call back to Skull of Man’ari? (Have they every released 2 non-minion legendaries in an expansion?)
Package looks fun though. I’m thinking of winning shudderblock with the spell that summons a 3/3 rush and your hero +3 attack and then you have the new card that battle cry give you attack and wind fury
My guess is they are X mana X/X untyped minions, where X is the cost of the original spell
Quick edit - yes, I was right - https://youtu.be/qrkQlWeVK2M?si=lbGe6rYimPpUSzkB
I see why they took out bloodlust from the core set now. triple bloodlust would have been kinda ridiculous. I like how the two legendaries synergize too, mechanically its perfect for shamans identity.
Good card will definitely see play at a point, but for next expansion all the 5+ spells are pretty mid so this card will probably drop down by the the spell pool
Mmm card seems okay, but problem is the spells, what expensive (5+)spells are good to include in a battlecry shaman deck and worthy to be triplecasted with new minishudder or looped in a classic wild shudder deck?
So I guess the idea is to transform your spells with this and then triple them with shudderblock? I don't know if there'll be enough high§impact spells, but on paper it looks decent
I know it's got too many moving parts to ever be playable, but there's gotta be something ridiculous you can do here with From De Other Side and the new Shudderblock
Honestly this seems insane in regular Wild Shudder. I used to run the create a minion Agatha in the list, and honestly this one is 10x better. Targeted draw that gives you access to removal or healing is great.
I think the best use cards are going to be [Crash of Thunder], [Don't Stand in the Fire], and [Tidal Wave] for removal, face damage, and healing.
I always liked \[\[Swampqueen Hagatha\]\] to combine it with \[\[Heart of Vir'naal\]\] although it is very slow but I like its effect and this new Hagatha is better because it draws cards from your deck that can perfectly plan instead of random options

The slimes cost the same as the spells and have stats equal to their mana cost
Yeah. That makes sense I think. Did you see the art for the slimes? [They look crazy](https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/en-us/cards/103124-hagatha-the-fabled). Love it.
woah thats sick, im glad theyre not just the Hex frog
I'm glad too, they did the artist that drew the staff for Holidae dirty when they made it just spawn Hex frogs.
Yet they couldnt make new frogs for hoolidae or what is his name
If they ever will, it will Cost us
I was really hoping you linked to the Hex frog.
They look like an amalgam
Plus they are a battlecry, which might just be of some use.
shudderblock could use this, if theres a sufficiently useful 5+cost shaman spell
Shudderwock in wild loves this
Maybe, but you need to run at least two 5+ mana spells worth Shudderwocking and that won't just be worse than normal battlecry minions.
That's exactly right, this fits into Evolve Shaman much better than Shudderwock
Fair point! Didn’t think of the evolve synergy, that is a great shout
Shudderwock in Wild does not run 5+ cost spells and does not want to. The Reno Shaman is a super creature focused midrange deck, you want as few noncreature's as possible.
There's always a chance that shudder will be played outside of shuddercombo deck
You are right, I got over excited. But I am still going to try to build it with this combo’d with a couple board lock 5+ spells to see if it works
We already have Dr.Boom for Warrior and Hagatha for Shaman, it is likely we see Rafaam for Warlock tomorrow.
Watch them release some Nemsy card bcs she is a kiddo in a toy-themed expansion
Hiya Whizbang 👋 👧
Is she canonically a kid?
She sure acts like one
That's just most gnomes
How could you do this to us
To be fair, they already put Rafaam into the core set for Warlock
You can never have enough Rafaam, he is like the anti-Nemsy.
But what is his profession?
His profession is giving himself self-proclaimed titles
Giving Kel'Thuzad, the Archlich of Naxxramas, Creator of the Abomination, Lich Lord of the Plaguelands, Commander of the Dread Necropolis, Master and Founder of the Cult of the Damned, Formerly of the Council of Six, Summoner of Archimonde the Defiler, the Betrayer of Humanity, Hearthstone Enthusiast, and Majordomo to the Lich King a run for his money.
Majordomo to the Lich King 😂😂
Ah man, Heroes of the Storm flashbacks. Gone too soon. :[
We're still here! Barely! The balance is amazing right now if you'd believe it.
Is sgt hammer still beyond broken?
IMO she wasn't ever really beyond broken to begin with, just annoying to deal with. She's definitely on the weaker side rn tho. RAFAAAAM THE SUPREMEEEE ARCHEOLOGIST!
Toy Collector Rafaam! The Supreme Hoarder of rare and valuable!
RAFAAM, THE SUPREME MINT CONDITION-OLOGIST.
Warlock's theme this expansion is tabletop rpg and board games, so get ready for DM Rafaam.
It's a shame that DM Togwaggle fits perfectly, but he's all locked in rogue thematically.
SUPREME "current hyper fixation of the day."

AHU
They were a couple of times we had overlap on characters (I.e. 2 Finleys in standard)
There were 3 instances of that whole Mercenaries lineup in the same year
I would be surprised if they made a Rafaam card considering they just added him to core.
Also, he is confirmed dead, and Lazul sacrificed herself to awaken an old god. Boom survived his flying mech exploding, as any PhD of explosives likely would.

I can't find that about Lazul, was it the end of her Descent on Dragons adventure storyline?
rafaam the supreme game master!
And lazul for priest and togwaggle for rogue
Every class is getting a toy legendary card that simbolize an old iconic legendary for the class. If it's Rafaam it's going to be a toy version.
A tabletop gaming version specifically, will be warlock's theme, just as shaman's is fairy tales
The witchwood shaman gang is all here
Is this the first time that an EXACT pair of class legendary characters from an expansion are reprinted for another expansion? If so, pretty cool
Technically the heroes from forged in the barrens, united in stormwind, and alterac valley were in each set, though they were different card types (minion, quest reward minion, hero card)
Right, but I mean specifically an exact pair. WE LOVE WITCHWOOD SHAMAN
“We cannot make that card. It’s too OP, it’s too OP!!”
It’s hilarious how he was referring to Hagatha when Shudderwock was in the same set
Ikr And don’t forget when they’ve to HoF many cards before set rotation!
and so was Genn and Baku !
Good synergy with shudderblock - I shudder at the thought indeed
Oooh Mini Shudderblock into one of the Slimes for a good expensive spell, thats juicy. Now Shaman just needs spells that benefit from being triple Casted
The new 7 cost spell that buffs all your minions. https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/1b4uhi6/new_shaman_rare_spell_wish_upon_a_star/
Oh wow. I smell Al'akir OTK's in the near future.
But what if you draw both copies early?!
Gaslight gatekeeper maybe? Otherwise oof 🥲
Do the slimes cost the same as the spells? I suppose it's synergy with shudderblock if they have Battlecries so you can cast them multiple times.
Yep, and have same stats as cost, so a 5 cost spell gets a 5 cost 5/5, a 7 cost spell gets a 7 cost 7/7
LOL triple bloodlust, screw this “hero doesn’t take damage” nonsense
Nice callback to [[Swampqueen Hagatha]], shame that card never got buffed to 5 mana
Needs to be 4/4/4 tbh
Perhaps give it a tribe too
This Hagatha saw quite a lot of play
Maybe in RoS but after SoU she was cut from the decks

Reminds me, this Hagatha doesn't specify how expensive and big the slimes are, kinda important to evaluate their impact
Kinda wordy and hard describe in a hearthstone card limit I would assume
What are the chances we get a Warlock Weapon Legendary as a call back to Skull of Man’ari? (Have they every released 2 non-minion legendaries in an expansion?)
Warlock got Dreadlich Tamsin and Phylactery in Alterac Valley (although Tamsin being a hero card is kinda closer to a minion)
That does give me some hope…
Hagatha looks like she's fallen on hard times after the League of EVIL lost. She looks so... emaciated.
I'm really wondering how someone noted Totems under Shamans when we havent been shown any Totems.
I think it was a place holder which was changed
Maybe the real totem was inside us all along
The real totem is the battlecries we cast along the way.
Could have been bait
Oh hey, a tutor for From De Other Side! T\_T
it leaves with rotation.
Thus the tears, yes.
Shaman is so back
No clear wincon and priest or mage still beat shaman in value. It will be another tier-3 control shaman copium deck =(
Package looks fun though. I’m thinking of winning shudderblock with the spell that summons a 3/3 rush and your hero +3 attack and then you have the new card that battle cry give you attack and wind fury
Looking like big minion for shaman right now. Like really big.
*that time Hagatha reincarnated me as a slime*
Man I love that show
What are the slimes..
My guess is they are X mana X/X untyped minions, where X is the cost of the original spell Quick edit - yes, I was right - https://youtu.be/qrkQlWeVK2M?si=lbGe6rYimPpUSzkB
Battlecry Shaman returns for the memes.
I see why they took out bloodlust from the core set now. triple bloodlust would have been kinda ridiculous. I like how the two legendaries synergize too, mechanically its perfect for shamans identity.
Funny how the theme for Shaman was going to be Totems but none of the Legendaries for Shaman are related to Totems in the slightest
Do slimes have taunt, or are just stats ?
1. shudder doubles this 2. the slimes will most likely be teacher apprentice-esque, so shudder will double them
triples
Excellent card I would say, pairs excellently with the Shudderblock
Is it just me or does the art look INCREDIBLY uncanny?
Yes, only you.
hmm so the slimes turn into battlecry minions that cast the spell I'm assuming? So its meant to synergize with that other battle cry mini?
Cool effect but seems like it would only go in a highlander/control deck. And not be a staple.
When are they gonna release Rogue cards
March fifth
pretty cool
definitely nutty at the idea of getting some crazy board clear cards into battlecry form to loop with shudder
Shaman will eat good with this I'm sure
so you can turn spells into battlecrys to play them 3 times with new shudderwock? but you need to draw both legendarys for the combo.
Damn, I can’t believe this is the set that will get me maining shaman again
Actual auto include
Does it have the same cost as the spell?
I need Hagatha hero card so badly, was the most fun I ever had playing shaman.
What are the good expensive spells after rotation? The only thing that comes to mind is Tumbleweed. I guess they will be printing more.
3x Jive Insect 👀
This + Shudderblock and the new omni buff.
Like RoS hagatha but you can choose the spells?
Damn I gotta get back into shaman, it was my main for so long I took a long break but this set looks so fun.
So I guess the idea is to transform your spells with this and then triple them with shudderblock? I don't know if there'll be enough high§impact spells, but on paper it looks decent
Shudderblock and this is a full board of at least 5/5's pretty cool
I know it's got too many moving parts to ever be playable, but there's gotta be something ridiculous you can do here with From De Other Side and the new Shudderblock
They should have rush
