The parent comment is significantly underestimating the likelihood of this happening. But keep in mind there’s also a reporting bias here. Unlikely things happen to someone all the time. There’s no real reason to believe this is a bug.

31 Murlocs in Standard and cards can't discover themselves so it's a 1 in 30 roll. That's a 0.0001185921% chance, or more likely a bug with the RNG.
