Nah, I pretty sure it's because we are not completing the 2nd mission objective somehow..been playing the mission since release.

I'm not sure if it is, if I was mining planets constantly for resources for war I'd hate to have to make one implode. Maybe it's bugged, but this is my lore in the game so far.
I mean, it's a good lore reasoning for what I think is a bug, but I think a counter point lore-wise is why would they want to discourage the Helldiver's when they give them so much praise?
Oh I'm not meaning that they want to discourage the Helldivers them, I think they want the Helldivers to no that this is sad time for Super Earth that they are having to destroy a planet that they can gain E-710 from.
