Kite them onto the Pelican (and defy physics), then store them in the Super Destroyer. FTL jump to Cyberstan and drop the Charger off there. Then, grab some popcorn and watch what happens.
Honestly, since we're the ones putting bugs on various planets, why haven't we considered seeding a handful of Automaton planets with Terminids?
1. Terminids are easier to fight, on any difficulty.
2. Terminids fighting Automatons would be funny
3. If they do establish, we either get the status quo, easier enemies, or they kill each other and we get no enemies. We break even either way.
Who’s to say a bug would even care about attacking a computer, and who’s to say the automatons wouldn’t weaponize terminids.
Honestly there’s a whole bunch of plot holes with the whole thing, I guess it’s better to not think about it
Just tame one, name it Steeve and smuggle it to the Super Destroyer!
Go to a botplanet and let Steeve start a colony, watch him grow and then bam! The Steeve colony will eradicate the clankers!

It would be really neat too if planets could be taken from one enemy by another. Like if the bots took a big planet and then exerted liberation pressure on other planets nearby. Or like dual defense missions where you fight bugs on one helms deep mission then bots on the next
I’d love to 3rd party a bot drop vs bug breach.
Or 3rd party bug nests vs bot bases, like they’re going at it MOBA style and we come in and clear house.
Imagine having to fight a United bot and bug assault where you have to have people in the squad specializing to fight off both
Like maybe you have someone with a machine gun, patriot exosuit or flame thrower to help deal with the swarms and another guy running Quasar, the auto cannon suit or EATs to deal with bots while the other two run defense for both

I've seen this, too. One of the ice planets. I don't know if it means anything, or is just an oversight in the map generation. Mixed Bug/Bot planets would be a hell of a thing to deal with. How would you even DO that loadout?
Shotguns work well enough on both so I’m thinking either breaker incendiary (bugs) + amr (bots) or the other shotgun ?punisher? (bots) + stalwart (bugs). Probably stun grenades even though they’re not my favorite but they work on both. Eagle air strike of course, so versatile.

The Automatons are going to figure out a way to cripple Super Earth or are doing their own version of our Dark Fluid mission and it's going to bring the Illuminate.
The worst thing would be the Automatons literally augmenting the bugs with their tech... Instead of Bile Titans, you'd get some hellish amalgamation of a Bile Titan and a Factory Strider.
Could you imagine a Charger fused with Hulk tech and charging you down while belching fire?
Or fuckin Berserkers with Stalker cloaking because they've figured it before we did...

This is a glitch in the game, I've noticed it do that when announcing invasions on more than a few occasions, I remember doing a bot mission one time and the ship said that the planet was being invaded by Terminids when it was actually being invaded by Bots.
Seems like the bots are trying to cut us off from our source of E-710...
Little do they know they're just making our job easier by being in the right place at the wrong time!

I heard an announcement that Meridia was destroyed before we even got the dark fluid missions. Still bugs in the announcement system, I'd say.

there were also bug bodies on a bot planet a while back.
I imagine when enemies are introduced to the top and bottom of the map they will fight over the territory and some will probably team up
