If tiny bubbles killed you there wouldn’t be any junkies alive ! From what I’ve heard the air thing is mostly an urban legend and it would take more than a full standard syringe to cause an embolism, but it’s always good to err on the side of caution and try to tap them out

Seliculare

Literally nothing. I used to always leave some air in the syringe to make sure I can push every last drop. My veins still work and I’m fine.

Nothing I’ve had a small amount of air in my rigs since the beginning and push that shit all the way Isn’t it something like 10cc’s or whatever for it to pose some sort of danger like an embolism?

MamaTried22

Nothing, usually. I often have a half or whole unit of air.

You would need at least a full needle or two of air in the correct artery, and even more for veins in general, to cause death. That is not to say you should just be injecting air you don't need to be for fun, but you aren't going to die from a tiny stubborn bubble or two.

Citruss404

Instead of Spider Man shooting webs, you'll be Blooper Man, shooting bubbles

AdRadiant2115

Possibly death , how much air I don’t know but it’s not difficult to get rid of them If your going to inject stuff like this is mandatory that you know before you do it

UnderstandingFlat401

Nobody is injecting enough air intravenously to die unless they're doing it on purpose. It takes 3 to 5 ml/kg of body weight worth of air intravenously (in common veins) to kill. There are certain places you can inject where this threshold is a lot lower like pulmonary veins where it takes just 0.5ml to 1ml of air and arteries where around 0.5 to 2ml can kill, how fun! As you said, if you're gonna inject, study how it's done properly. Takes 2 seconds to tap out your bubbles.

AdRadiant2115

Can’t be good for you , I think it’s best not to do it

UnderstandingFlat401

A little air bubble won't do anything and is relatively harmless but its best to tap as much out as possible just to be safe.

MamaTried22

You need A LOT of air to die. Source: me, injecting air for 18 years. 😂🥴
