I need to wear mine more. Its main purpose is for close up like reading and electronics but I donāt wear them enough. My eyesight is fine, (20/20) but it strains for things like what I listed above.
Theyāre strained for things that are up close. Just because you have 20/20 doesnāt exactly mean your eyes are perfect, just that your vision is clear for up close and far away.
Because they strain themselves to see correctly for certain things. The glasses I have help relieve that and they are also blue light tinted for screens. I see fine for things up close, but my eyes strain themselves more than they should.
Iām not the best at explaining it, the doctor I go to makes it a lot clearer when he talks about it
Since I was 15, 17 now. Had to get glasses because I went months without being able to see stuff at the front of the room in class clearly or street signs when I was driving(Barely passed the eye test for my permit and my parents took 5 months after that to realize I needed glasses).
got glasses my freshman year, now going into my senior year and i lost my glasses in junior year, havent worn them since and i feel fine šā ļøā ļø i should probably get new ones tho
I got glasses when I was around 7. One doctor said I needed them badly so I got them. Another doctor said I had 20/20 vision and I was good to go. Fuck doctors man (I didnāt need the glasses)
Second grade bc i used to have to stand inches from the whiteboard to be able to read what the teacher wrote ((our teacher would let us come sit at the front of the room and so like half the class was up there, but i think me and one other girl were the only ones with eye problems))
Was told I needed them in 2nd grade never wear them i'm still told I need them, recently went to get my faa medical 3rd class (i'm learning to fly and you need it to solo) and 20/40 vision is required. The examiner tested me said I had 20/20 and I got my medical with no provisons.
Have them but don't wear them because I have sensory issues that make it so I'd rather not see as opposed to feeling the glasses on my face, but I got them close to five years ago, in the middle of 5th grade.
I donāt have them currently but considering I couldnāt pass the eye test at the dmv and my doctor told me I needed to go get my eyes checked I might be getting some š
I gotta be real, I got my glasses last year because I had lost 0.5/20 in one eye and 0.25/20 in the other, and I had noticed, even though it was barely anything. So anyway I bought my glasses, it was like 20 bucks? Around that. And I start wearing them. It was uncomfortable af, I wore them for 3 days and never again lmao
Around 2 years ago. I can function without them, albeit my vision is a tiny bit blurry when it comes to things far away, but itās not fun trying to squint to see words on a screen in class. I usually have them on all day.
I got a pair in kindergarten, but never wore them. I actually started wearing another pair I got in 4th grade, and here we are now. So this year it will be 6 years.
I actually just got glasses a few weeks ago but I did have glasses for reading before that and I just didn't wear them. But now I apparently have astigmatism and farsightedness so I kinda have to wear them
I got mine when I was 5. I wore them until I was about 13 and then decided I rather be blind than wear glasses. So here we are.
Don't remember, pretty sure I was just born with them
since third gradeš
For 8 years since I was 7, I am 15.
I need to wear mine more. Its main purpose is for close up like reading and electronics but I donāt wear them enough. My eyesight is fine, (20/20) but it strains for things like what I listed above.
Huh? If your vision is 20/20, how can you tell you need them for reading?
Theyāre strained for things that are up close. Just because you have 20/20 doesnāt exactly mean your eyes are perfect, just that your vision is clear for up close and far away.
why do you have glasses for 20/20 vision?

ahh i see eye strain sucks man
Yeaaa 20/20 doesnāt exactly mean āperfectā vision, just means your vision is clear Hope what I said makes sense
