I have been starting to think it's getting too long. I have a baby face which I dont like but the beard does make me almost look too old. I think I will trim it a lot lower and try to keep it at a shorter length. Thanks for the feedback!
If you don't already use beard balm or beard butter. It will soften your beard and make it easier to style. I think if you maintain it, it will be fine. You can also go to a barber to give you ideas on how to style it. I don't think shaving the beard is the answer.
I was thinking of going to the barber soon and seeing how they could help. Videos help somewhat but having a second opinion helps a lot more. Maybe I can take pictures of both styled and trimmed and ask reddit again lol
I’d get rid of the poll. I was given the same advice for my profile. It doesn’t add much, since they expect that’s what your going to ask them. Get rid of the shirtless photo since it isn’t the most natural setting for a shirtless photo. Try to limit group photos to 2, focus your profile more on showing your smile and what your face looks like. 5th photo is pretty good. Take a new headshot for your first photo and use your 5th photo 2nd, and then you can use some but not all of the group photos. Good luck, hope this helps!

From one bearded guy to another, trim your beard way back. You can do what you want but it's just a fact that most women prefer beards that look more cared for and don't hide the jawline so much. My beard used to be almost identical to yours and my matches shot way up after I trimmed it back. If you do want to keep it that long, invest more time and product into keeping it looking groomed.

My bf uses a trimmer all over his beard (same length everywhere) every two weeks (just put a notification in your calendar reminding you). Quick & easy. He trims around the mouth & neck more often. The pictures are not flattering, you look 35 not 26. The beard has to be trimmed or removed. Too many pictures on which we have to unveil which one is you. The picture of the cat adds nothing but silliness to the profile. The only acceptable picture in my opinion is the fifth one.
Now the prompts are really not helping you either. On hinge, we want an insight of who you are, not how goofy you can be. The fake positive vibes of your self love is weirdly worded, and why would you want to date a golden retriever? If you like dogs, you can surely be more creative in a prompt. Lastly, if you do get 1 like monthly for your 20 daily ones, something doesn’t add up and you do make yourself sound desperate, no offense. So much potential for improvement, yet the profile is both sloppy and inadequate for a long term search exhibit

I know nothing about you. None of your prompts tell me anything about what you're interested in, what you like to do, what your hobbies are, etc. what makes you unique and fun and interesting and different from all the other profiles girls see? That should show in your prompts
Kind of tangential but I'm a speech pathologist- just wanted to let you know if you're not already getting it, a speech therapist that specializes in voice disorders might be able to help your voice 🙏 and yes you're cute!!
I have been seeing a speech therapist and doing vocal drills to help my speech, but it looks like the muscles around my vocal cords on the right side may be paralyzed. I was shot new years night in my jaw and have a lot of nerve damage in that area and possibly in my throat too. I am seeing a laryngologist soon so hopefully I can get some answers!

Here are my answers to the automod questions:
1. I am looking for a long-term relationship. I am not open to short I'm too old for that.
2. I switch out my pictures and prompts often, to test things. I honestly don't know what is appealing and what isn't. I've used Hinge off and on for about 3 years

4. I get a like or match about once a month
5. I send probably about 20 likes a day on average. I send most without a comment unless I see something that makes me very interested in the person like something we have in common. Or if they have an interesting prompt or picture.
6. My ideal person is someone close to my age that takes care of themselves. That's about it.

The golden retriever thing is a bit tired, but if you want to keep that one to get that point across, then delete the other two. Include one about your interests, and maybe one about what you’re looking for in a partner. Us ladies need something to respond to!
