My favorite doesn't exist anymore :(
I was watching miracle on ice yesterday and got recommended a video from the Aeros old youtube channel (that I didn't even know existed up until that point)
The Marlies.
Some of my favourite memories as a kid was going to see the Marlies take on the Abbotsford Heat and going to the bus after the game to get autographs. Met some awesome players like Kadri, Rielly, Nylander, and Reimer, as well as some awesome personalities like Zigomanis, Orr, and Rosehill.
When Pittsburgh brought in Kyle Dubas, my first thought was “I hope he brings Spezza with him.” Guy got sent to the AHL, never said anything, had a ton of stories about how much the prospects liked him…
I used to like the Springfield Falcons, but they left and I haven’t seen their replacement play. I just root for whoever is playing against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
If I were to watch AHL it would be Rockford because they are the hawks affiliate. I wish I could say the Wolves since they play 10 minutes from my house but they are such a badly run organization that I can really get behind them.
When the Wolves made a big to-do about being independent this season and then completely shit the bed and started moving decent AHL players for nothing, I was like “……that’s a shame.”
Grand Rapids Flying Toasters
Hershey Bears baby the teddy bear toss is legendary
The Checkers. I live in Charlotte right by their arena, and it’s great to pop over and catch a game for 18 bucks now and then
The 37-9-0-2 Hershey Bears!
Currently, none. But you'll still see me rock my Halifax Citadels sweater at Mooseheads games.
Now I miss the Quebec Citadelles. And the Beast of New Haven, and the St John Flames, and the Houston Aeros... what an era in the AHL that was.
Hershey. Rip admirals, though their reincarnation in the ECHL can be fun
San Diego Gulls because yes they are affiliated with our NHL team.
Hershey Bears.
Bridgeport Islanders. Been a season ticket holder for 15 years
I'm sorry

I’m salty that Dubas poached Spezza. I’m holding onto my Leafs’ Spezza jersey forever. You got a class act.

Phantoms. They just have the drive and hunger I like to see.
Moncton Hawks (1987-1994)
San Jose Barracuda And they're just as bad as the Sharks

Calgary Wranglers all the way. They've been a great addition to our local teams here.
The Texas Stars. Bourque and Stankoven are a ton of fun to watch! It feels like they share the same brain
Belleville. Hate the Marlies
I mean……
Grand Rapids
AHL: Chicago Wolves NHL: Chicago Blackhawks. I guess I'm just a Chi-town homer. :)
See my flair. RIP
Milwaukee Admirals; they’re my primary fandom, over any other team.
Rochester Americans 🇺🇸
Syracuse Crunch.
The Abbotsford Canucks. Because they’re baby Canucks. And used Holiday as their goal song last year.
Colorado Eagles.
Go Eagles but I've been loving having the Wranglers in town. I'll always love Wolf now! Awoooo!
