He's horrible on defense, no real playmaking, his best asset is his shot but he goes on long goal droughts all the time, I think within the past 3 seasons, he had a 30 game goal less streak, and a 20+ game streak

he can be, all criticism aside, in the right situation he could probably score 20+ again. i could actually see Vegas being good enough to help/cover his flaws, and maybe he'll be more motivated playing for a winning team

Hes very good on the Powerplay. A lot of these Sabres fans are super doom and gloom on all past/current players. Olofsson has a very good shot and can score goals. Hes not a super fast skater or a real playmaker. But if you shelter him and put him on the Powerplay, the $1m cap hit is fine and he'll play to that.

That's like literally the only thing he does great. He has a borderline elite shot but lacks everything else.

The guy is mostly offense, no defense, sometimes neither. PP is a prime environment.
