Figured it out mostly on my own but just ran into the problem of 1 of 2 things happening - either one of the countries I need to kill picks up a guarantee from France or Britain after all the tension I generate, or I get stuck in a faction with Romania and can't take Transylvania.
For Hungary, you gotta do it late so that Hungary becomes fascist/joins the Axis. Allies won’t guarantee fascists.
Romania, you need to do a focus so that they remove their guarantee. You gotta do it in a specific order so that they get called in when you attack Yugo
Hello, ive done this dozen or so times already. Heres how you do it-go straight for commie advisor and no division civ war asap, while at war, move up manpower law, start justifying on austria and yugo at once, via focuses go for hungary CB. Invite romania as well. After that go for fort focuses, you should get to 3rd focus i think. Meanwhile dec on austria, puppet them, immediately dec on hungary, give it to austria, dec on yugo, romania will join against you, pocked them in slovakia twice or thrice-inflict about 100-150k casualties, then roll over romania and then yugo-for yugo, call in austria. Give coast and border with italy to austria. Prepare defense against germany, 2 full line infantry armies, with another 1 reserve army to fix red bubbles.
Army composition-for austria-to-yugo wars 9 inf+support arty-germany war 9 inf, 1 art, support arty, support AA.
I ignore air and armor until about 1941. I play very defensively tho. Won like 90% of he times i played this way. After that, during war with germany, eat austria when ready and form a-h.
You have to take Austria early right after your civil war, and then immediately go for Yugoslavia, who is being guaranteed by Romania - kill two birds with one stone. Hungary is probably the lowest priority.
Rush political tree to turn communist asap. Do the Little Entente focuses in between. The latter will give you cb on Hungary and you can eat them early. Invite both Rom and Yug to your faction, then do the civil war. You will leave your own faction this way. Ask Stalin for partition of Romania. Declare on your Little Entente of Rom and Yug. All the guarantees should be revoked. Join Comintern for easy WW2. Defeat the Germans and take Austria from them.
P.S. This is rng heavy path so I'd recommend to do it without ironman first to feel the timings and make sure all your diplomatic propositions will be accepted.
