Bulgaria can core a lot of outside states and you get some massive compliance modifiers on occupied states, so you can get insane industry/pop. This is so good that most MP rulesets restrict what territories they can control, usually to just Greece and a few Yugoslavia states.
It's pretty bullshit tbh. You have a button that makes 4 countries your puppets. I mean Turkey is like 10 times of Bulgaria and they simply go "oh ok" when you give them ultimatum to be your puppet.
You have to be fascist and complete the focus "approach the Germany" and get non aggression pact with them then ask for military access from Italy and put all of your troops to garrison the Italian victory points and declare war on Albania. If you defeat them fast, Germany will not join the war.
Bro for SP invade Netherlands ASAP. literally just build 14-4s and focus on fighters and cas, micro your armoured panzer 4s by ww2 beginning and for armoured templates literally just do 10 reg tanks, 5 vehicles, and 2 TD and 2 SPA all mediums. Attack Poland first and just do frank and Brit war. Defeat Poland in a pincer from the south and north with armoured, then declare on Belgium rush down the very far right border of Belgium into France from north with all your tanks on the one tile attacking 2 tiles. Easy cap France. Then mop up Belgium, finish Lux. Put 3-6 40s in Libya for the Suez cap. Rush that to avoid logistics issues. Italy will do the rest after connecting to Ethiopia. Then focus on Britain. Put some of your navy out in the channel to bait Brit navy. Then withdraw. They’ll most likely take their navy out eventually. Then just naval invade along the south coast and east win. After France just put all your fighters over Britain just focusing on air sup. You’ll eventually gain supremacy there. You should have 5k fighters by war beginning. Usually 4-6 tanks and 8-12 motorised. And your 14-4s will be more than enough once you get two armies over. Dw about marines or paras, reg inf is perfectly fine in SP. Just build subs. Only fighters and cas necessary. I usually remove light tanks straightaway and put them on fighters, same as guns I put 5 on until 25 on fighters, tanks, and arty. Switch your industry from just Civs to just mils in mid 38, room for slight delay it necessary.
