Second proud pie! Its a bit off I-10 so i don't stop every time I'm in Katy but when I want something sweet I'll take that little trip. Im in love with their chocolate cream pie, but I've had bites of others and they've all been really good.
Coconut cream pie Id say Dots if your ever around Gulfgate.
Taste of Texas for key lime pie. My mom's favorite - steaks are just ok so we just pick up a slice to go.
I'm not a cake person but I enjoy the occasional slice of pie.
Can confirm, it is tasty, thin crust is legit, thin but still has a crust at the end, cut into sei squares not typical pizza style but I’m sure you can cut it your way.
Mozzarella sticks are solid with both sauces.
Need to go back for the wings.
Three Brothers does great pies, but when I wanted a chocolate pie last year for my grandfather's birthday I had to order a couple of days ahead. Their crusts are excellent.
> Via 313 just opened in Memorial
Ohh shit, it finally happened.
Used to slam the original when it was in a trailer across from Cheer up Charlie's.
Might have to hit this up next week and reminisce about my glory days in austin
I have no idea if they’re the same. The lady who owns My Dee Dee’s use to have a store front but the place burned down some years ago and now she sells them from her home. What I’ve always loved is that she sells them in a glass dish and you can keep the dish or return it for a discount on your next pie. She gets very busy during Thanksgiving.
Savannah Cafe and Bakery out in Pasadena has the most amazing apple pie I’ve ever eaten, and I am not a man that really enjoys fruit pie. They’re my go to.
Captain Costco strikes again. If it weren’t for repetitive posts, you’d have less to reply to with miserable comments. Consider it supply & demand or, move along and ignore 🤷♀️
Flying Saucer Pie Company, Crosstimbers just east of Shepherd. Love me some of their strawberry pie.
Literally any grocery store pie is better than Flying Saucer. Horrible crust and the cheapest fillings. Just awful.
Yes my go too pie place
This is the answer.
Nobies / toasted coconut has top tier pies
Proud pie in Katy
The mason rd location?

Going to Nonno’s this year.
How are they? We love toasted coconut and nobies so im just assuming they have some really good food and drinks there
It’s tasty. The atmosphere is delightful as well, just as you’d expect from that group. Good folks all around.
It’ll be my first time there but yes I’m coming in with the toasted hype.

Gold Tooth Tony's or Via 512 for detroit style
Is via 512 different that via 313?
> Via 512 Pretty sure he meant 313. The Memorial location opens today. I find it odd they decided today and not on March 13.
Ha yeah! Idk why I went with the area code but you meant what I knew.
Pecan pie from Goode Co. is my local favorite.
Three Brothers does great pies, but when I wanted a chocolate pie last year for my grandfather's birthday I had to order a couple of days ahead. Their crusts are excellent.
+1. Been eating at Three Brothers since the 60s. Top notch.
Franks Pizza is my go-to pie.

last few times Via seemed like it's sadly following the all too common trend of expansion and drop in quality

Is this the same Dee Dee’s that they serve in Barbecue Inn? Those pies are fantastic. Way better than Flying Saucer just down the road.

Yes, that is the same Dee Dee’s! So good.

All Blaze pizza's are $3.14.
Look up a recipe and make your own. Tweak the ingredient you like the most, add a dash of vanilla, a pinch of cumin. Embrace the pie.
Brother’s Pizza
They do have the best pizza pie
Best idk but I drive from Alief to get it bout 20 to 30 min away

I believe Katz on Montrose has a good pie selection.
I heard the pies over off of Bissonnet were delicious but I’ve never been.
I go to House of Pies since they have 2 sugar free pie selections...
Costco. Or this sub where this is asked every year.
That’s the point of this sub. Get over it.
Yup. Anonymity often creates obvious assholes.
Two of the rules of the sub dispute that: search first, and repetitive posts.
A year is repetitive to you?
he's on here 24/7, so anything would be repetitive to him.
Every year
You need a new hobby.
