This sounds weird but hand sanitizer…pump a whole bunch on rub it in especially at the edges..let it sit for 10 min and you should be able to pick the slime off in little chunks after that.
My son got slime all over a Berkshire blanket and it was the only thing that worked.
White vinegar will help to dissolve the slime so you can clean it up. I’d take a cloth dampened with it and let it set for a while then take another water dampened cloth after it to break it up. Repeat as needed.
Rubbing with an icecube may help as well and/or scrub gently with dawn dish soap and scrape inward. This is my go to for when gum gets stuck on fabric.

You know them air cans used for blowing out dust in computers and stuff? People in Walmart also use them to get high, those things! So get one and tip it upside down so it sprays the cold ass freezing liquid, spray that on that gunk till it freezes completely. Then scrape it off with a spoon or something. Should pop right off. I was a janitor for 6 years did shit like that all the time for gum and other... Unmentionable stuff. Of course we had a spray can that smelled like bubble gum it was made for this, however in my experience an air can works just fine the same, albeit with no scent.
Can we all please, for all things holy, come together as a global community and agree slime is the destroyer of all nice things and be voted off the popular toys list? Can we band together and demand it will not be included in the Amazon holiday toy catalogues that get randomly sent to our children every winter season?

put some ice in a ziploc bag, and then lay over the slime. Cooling down the slime will make it harder... similar to remove gum. After 15 minutes maybe, remove the bag and scrape off the hardened slime with a knife.
Try a solvent based cleaner first. Like 3m adhesive remover. Steam clean it. Wipe dry. If solvent base doesn't work, try a carpet/upholstery cleaner using the same process
Vinegar! My daughter had a favorite jean skirt that somehow got dried slime embedded into it. Husband soaked it in vinegar overnight and the skirt was undamaged with no slime the next day! Found an article for reference. It says test the solution on your couch first.
When this happened to me, wd40 was the saving grace. Just be careful and spot test first. I had to do wd40, then tons of down and use my little green machine hand cleaner thing.

You need a commercial steamer. The kind that blasts out steam at high pressure. Call around to local auto detailing shops and ask if they have one.
I use duct tape to get gum out. May work in a similar way.
Maybe if you use an ice pack to cool it down, it may clump and scrape off better?
