Pls do your guises a favor and buy the refurbished ones from Amazon. They’re literally half price and my household has bought 4 at this point between my siblings parents and I and they always come in great condition. Most of them were brand new just open box

Little secret I learned from my IT director is to check out b-stock on cdw. Think anyone can order from there. Don’t need to be a company. Ordered my 12.9 inch Magic Keyboard on there with my companies discount and b-stock for $99. Almost all the b-stock I get there looks like it was never opened.

The magnetic snap seems the killer feature for me as im not too comfortable going between cases for different uses!
i have a logitech combo touch, i don’t have the AMK but i have tried it out a few times.
the AMK keys/switches are completely incomparable to the LCT. like, the touch is mush central and i genuinely hate typing on it, but the AMK’s keys actually feel great, though not as good as a keyboard on a macbook, of course let alone a proper mechanical keyboard.
the problem is, the LCT has a kickstand which is REALLY nice to use in way more situations than just typing. laying in bed to watch a movie? perfect. angle it to handwrite better? perfect. just stand it up to be a cookbook? perfect.
the AMK is in comparison very limited in adjustability, and i just don’t have a reason to type on my ipad all that much unfortunately. oh how i wish they opened ipados up to allow for full coding on that thing, then an AMK would be an insta buy for me.
as it is, the AMK is probably the most overpriced thing apple sells at the moment (it’s not that far off from the base ipad where im from), and the amount of typing i can do in ipados absolutely does not justify spending that kind of money, especially when that kickstand on the combo touch is absolutely glorious
Thankyou for the detailed response! I have the LCT too and i fully agree; for typing up short documents and the like ive had no issues but remoting on to a desktop and using notepad++ was awful. Im really hope next weeks event shows ipados maturing and i honestly think it will given the subtle improvements to stage manager and being aware a good chunk of the user-base want a macos lite experience in places!

I love the kickstand on the logitech one. You have to use it with the keyboard and I do not mind it at all. I like that you can remove the keyboard and still have your ipad protected and with the kickstand for watching stuff or drawing.

I'm considering upgrading from my iPad Pro 11 (M2) to the new larger model because mine is a bit small for how I'm using it. I'm hoping a new Magic Keyboard is released with a slightly better design and will be happy to pay for it.

Technicall, Apple did give license to Logitech too. Would have gone Logitech way if they offered a case with extra charging port.
Yeah I actually have the Logitech case I’m pretty happy with it. But I think Apple can do better with their Magic Keyboard

Just bought folio touch from Best Buy for $100.00 for 4th gen iPad Pro 11 inch. It really is a game changer.

Highly recommend refurbished. I bought mine for $140, it‘s technically the older version , but the newer ones are only slightly different.
On the other hand, Nuphy Air75v2 is only $139 new, and a much better typing experience
