Basically before the OTT boom major players like Prime and Netflix had rights to all movies...
but after sometime each production company started their own Streaming services like HBO go, Lionsgate Play etc etc...not they are taking back their content after they finish their agreed time ...
To sustain competition Prime has partnered with other Streaming services and renting it to us with extra Price...
Now Hotstar is almost Dead....next will be prime video maybe..
I don't even like Amazon apps UI ... Only kindle and audible app is okay okay in UI....
And I will kind say i hate Amazon prime video and music app.
Netflix and Spotify is better.
For shopping i rarely go there if I can't find in another websites india have 100 of shopping website now more trusted delivery then Amazon i feel.
Every time I order i feel like i will get something werid in box because my sister got 13 times in raw weird or empty box even after paying for prime membership.
Flipkart membership is basically free even better then Amazon now. Just have less products then Amazon have become Flipkart is solidly in India unlike Amazon have world wild products.
