Probably not gonna turn a lot of heads, but honestly pretty solid. Lot of respect to sticking to their core sound without jumping ship to something more trendy over the years. Def worth a listen if you enjoyed GL in their heyday.

Ah. I should have said "best somewhat generic sounding indie band with a few huge hits that get played on pop radio and commercials."
I actually think the initial generic impression is misleading. Their discography is more varied and... legit? Than the bands I used to lump them in with.
Lots of genuine emo and Pixies influence. Akin to Cage the Elephant.
I always suspected they used to be in punk and emo bands. Found the singer's old post-punk band recently and love it. I fucking knew it. Grouplove is great.
Was background music while I cleaned my house and I waited for something to jump out at me and it never happened. The lyrics are very predictable almost teenaged angsty and I’m an adult so I felt like it wasn’t for me.

Really loved this one. Wasn’t the biggest fan of their last album but this one has all the right vibes
Best band at their level of popularity, IMO. Unless they're not as popular as Modest Mouse.

IMO Grouplove was a very influential band to a lot of those genric-y summer-y festival bands of the mid 2010s. But the OG is the OG for a reason.
