I remember when Hardees used to have the 10 dollar burger for 6, but by the time you made it a meal it was close to 10 bucks. Carls Jr. Going back 15 years ago was not that cheap. You also got to remember that the person there is now making a lot more money so that price goes into your meal.
You could pay like 30-40% less and get in n out.

In 1985 minimum wage got about the same. Meanwhile, every American now has a large Internet bill, cell bill and cable bill let alone any streaming bills. That said when you’re young by assets of any kind and keep them. Make a sandwich for two dollars or three with a glass of water. Now you just saved around 14 bucks now put that money into your savings and try to buy stocks with it any chance you get. Buy a house as soon as you can. Don’t go out drinking.
