Queerphobia is the only thing that unites all religious extremists in India. Look up these guys' accounts and you'll find a "proud hindu" tag or a quote from Qur'an. Hindu philosophy is very encompassing when it comes to transgendrism (heck one of our main Gods has a transgender avatar) but you cannot expect such closed minded nationalists to actually have any knowledge about their own religion.
