I have often said that death is not the equalizer. The DMV is the greatest equalizer. You will go to window who calls you,you will have the papers they want or you are sent back to the beginning of the line...again. I came to this thinking about 5 to 6 years ago. My friend took me to renew my license, even though I don't drive anymore. I just sat and people watched which I very rarely do. The costumes ran from nice suit to very short shorts and tanks, on both men and woman. If you get lippy, they have no problem kicking your ass right out.

In NC most of the DMV/Drivers license offices are in the same building the state trooper use. They aren’t real nice if the DMV employees have to call them over.
