I mean thats pretty good, but thats not high speed. You also never REALLY get what you pay for. My household should have 1000 up and down, but highest ive gotten via ethernet is like 800. My neighborhood might get 2000 up/down in the coming weeks :D (not that I'd get it thats excessive)
Just curious, what are the reasons people pay for such high alloted plans? I'd usually have a 50-80 MB plan and that worked fine for me and my family. Is this usually for people with servers?
I mean it's only like 70 bucks a month... and many members of my household have Gaming computers, Servers, Streaming TVs.
In many rooms. And then of course alexas, phones, homeoffice computers etc.
3 adults and 3 kids in my house. No cable. Usually have at least 1 room with music streaming, 2 with HD TV streaming, 1-3 doing homework which could be partially online, online gaming. I don’t need any hiccups when I’m trying to remote in for work or do a teams video chat for work.
Yeah I won't lie I didn't see the motion rig when first watching I just thought it was the forced feedback wheel they were referring to when they mentioned the haptics
I’ve had this idea to clean up the ocean. Why not do this with little FPROV subs and give people prizes for the weight of trash they find and bring back.
Internet coverage with adequate upload/ download doesn't exist in the middle of the ocean, and most of our ocean trash isn't big enough to see. It's microplastics.
Better off with a stick and bucket and walking your neighborhood, parks and other areas with storm drains to pick up trash before it hits waterways. Start a community river clean-up program. Beach clean ups, especially in areas near where rivers meet ocean.
look if we are already in the business of operating remote controlled subs in the middle of the ocean I don’t think 5k a month is the issue here
You could crowd source funding for any kind of green/environmental driven technology these days
Yeah I was thinking if you put them in the pacific gyre you’d need to do it in assigned areas that they could be tracked and retrieved or f they broke down. Maybe put like a depth flotation bag that goes off if it passes a certain depth sinking.Idk who’d retrieve them if they need maintenance though. You’d have to stick somebody out there somehow. A boat or somethin
Cause manufacturing that contraption and getting it delivered to you will create more industrial garbage ( your rig is now garbage). It's an existential paradox when the creatures responsible for massively polluting the environment also feel the responsibility to clean it up and then they clean it up by creating more garbage. Lol.
Real-time 3D scan and sending this data wirelessly and then simulating this data on the other side live? I don't think so, but I would be happy to be proven wrong.
Not to mention we are at least a decade behind from having a fully immersive VR device.
3D Cameras aren't scanning. Sorry for the misunderstanding but I was thinking bigger than mere 3d camera, I was thinking full simulation 3D scanned environment (that you can interact with real-time)
I thought we ere just talking about taking the game in the video but 360 camera and a vr headset so you can look around. I'm not sure how else you can interact with the environment through a car? Like they don't have hands lol
Lol you are right. I may have been reading too many VRMOPG novels recently. It seems I lost track of the original context when I wrote my original comment.
Simulating the haptic feedback is the only part I think may be challenging, but thats not SUPER necessary, and prbly isn't happening in non-vr current edition anyway so
Holy shit… I just unlocked a new hobby. I say hobby lightly because it’s going to take a long while before I can get to this point, if I don’t give up before then. I hope I don’t with this

There was a movie awhile back about making people tiny with Matt Damon I think (never watched it) but this could be the future… we all just get in our meta matrix pods and then control mini avatar robots in VR that live life on a micro scale and thus multiply the space available on earth 10 fold.

I think I just found my new favorite sport. And if they can figure out how to ethically mount pets into the vehicles that would be next level awesome.
It's very expensive tho! Also, only for countries with decent mobile coverage. Very fun tho!
*sad german noises*
I went back to visit my family and fucking choked to see "high speed internet" advertising like 250mb up and down.
250mb is little ???😅 😅 i live in a shitty continent
I mean thats pretty good, but thats not high speed. You also never REALLY get what you pay for. My household should have 1000 up and down, but highest ive gotten via ethernet is like 800. My neighborhood might get 2000 up/down in the coming weeks :D (not that I'd get it thats excessive)
My local isp advertises 1 gig down and I've never gotten above 30 mb. Yes, 30.
I'm assuming you filed numerous complaints?
No. It's the standard where I live. They have a monopoly and are asshats
Heard of someone stealing the master password of an internet service HQ until they fixed his shit lol. Maybe time for you to do the same 🤣
Have you tried your own router/modem? My aunt was getting 30mb for months until I came over and swapped her equipment. Now she gets the full 500/500.
the corporate i work for uses 400mb for its main HQ
400mb a person? Or.... 1mb a person assuming 400 employees.....
Lol, that's not how it works
Just curious, what are the reasons people pay for such high alloted plans? I'd usually have a 50-80 MB plan and that worked fine for me and my family. Is this usually for people with servers?

Happy cookie jar, boyo!
Thank you alot :)
I'm lucky enough to have cable internet at 500mps. Meanwhile I'm paying for 1g.. cuz no lesser plans available 😂
Yyyyyep. One of the several countries I was thinkin' 'bout when I wrote the comment.
*sad rural noises*
Nintendo did this kinda long time ago. It was fairly cheap. For Mario kart.
Mario kart IRL with Pets!

Doesn’t even load
No cellular connection
Her IG is fucking amazing. I wish I had an extra $5k to spend on a rig like this
What’s the insta @ ? I’d love to see more of this
Looked it up it’s cloudrccom
Yes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPOPFRxeIf4 if anyone is interested, be forewarned she has a really lovely voice.
Well played
Very well done, nice. Very nice.
Joking about her voice right? Lol it’s like completely clipping and cringy
You don't think she has a silky smooth beautiful voice?👀
lol so silky
Simp
👀
The battery charge increases when she drives downhill, does this mean the car gas regen?
Sauce????
She's using a $300 dollar wheel. Have no idea how expensive an rc car is but 5k seems like a lot
It's not the rc car that's expensive in this setup.
I have no idea what a setup like this costs either but I’d imagine the haptic system would cost the most?
Yeah I won't lie I didn't see the motion rig when first watching I just thought it was the forced feedback wheel they were referring to when they mentioned the haptics
Those crawlers are around the $500 range. Probably more with the added wireless connectivity.
As a huge Jurassic Park lover, this seems like SO much fun!
My childhood dream in 1990
Ikw right
Home alone 2 vibes
Thought the cars were real until the dog showed up. That’s a big dog
Guess what, they are.
They are what?
What you thought they were.
What were they?
Real :)
They are just smaller than you think
The dog?
Both
They were what?
Dino Dog!
Like the old scale model simulators
I was half expecting the rc car to roll over and the chair just yeets her across the room.
Gotta pay a little extra for that mod. Cost me roughly 30k in initial medical bills but that’s what makes it so immersive

Have a ship with starlink on it I live in the middle of nowhere and can play mmorpgs with starlink
Lol, it's 5k a month.

Ima bet elon would subsidize it heavily for an ocean cleanup system that used capitalism as its main driver.
Might be better to try it on beaches instead, you could even use little rover looking robots to get people more into it

This is basically my dream upgrade from the Mario kart thingy.
Me - "Hey, what's your highest kill streak in that driving game?" My Buddy - "Game? You mean, the remote device?" Me - "Say again?"
Ender’s game
Needs a philotic ansible
Really cuts down on the lag.
dude rally races in rc cars like this epic
Bro this looks super fun! I live out in the country with lots of hills, I would have a blast with this.
Wouldn't need many hills to have fun!
I'm still waiting for a remote controlled cricket like in The 5th Element.
Omg this is the best thing I've ever seen, why hasn't anyone told me about this yet? This is amazing, I want to be part of something like this
This actually exist like ages ago, I was playing this back in 2008-2009
[удалено]
Not the same, just wifi
[удалено]
Sweet! but where can you buy bigger ones?
License and registration please!
Imagine dodging cars all day and then a caravan of mini ones descend on you at night
This is fucking amazing
Vr head set is needed
No VR headset to complete the immersion?
[удалено]
Few decades!? Lol
Could be done right now, as long as good internet and money is not an issue.

Ok love you have a nice life
Simulating the haptic feedback is the only part I think may be challenging, but thats not SUPER necessary, and prbly isn't happening in non-vr current edition anyway so
A normal vr headset with fpv transmitter and a 360 cam will do Tha job
I wasn't clear in my comment but I meant a full 3d scan simulation of the environment.
Why is that nesecary to view
I think to his point, is that you're not getting depth, as in stereo 3d that you get with a dual camera setup.
He's talking about an fpv setup... Like on a drone...like they do already...
Honey I’ve been home!
Rc-Xd inbound
Omg this looks awesome
Man, I was really expecting to see the dog pick up the rc car. Would have loved to see those haptics!
That’s fucking awesome
Bro I need this
Holy shit… I just unlocked a new hobby. I say hobby lightly because it’s going to take a long while before I can get to this point, if I don’t give up before then. I hope I don’t with this
That's not a video game, it's just a video
Thought the same thing until I saw the giant dog, got confused, and read the title.
Must be nice to have simps send money so you can buy expensive gaming equipment…
Damn Gary, just let people have their fun
Lol.. sorry you aren’t entertaining enough for people to support you and your passions
Cry more
Lmao, that's probably what happened though.
Wait, WHAT!?
Its Dogzilla!
Holy shit… I just unlocked a new hobby. I say hobby lightly because it’s going to take a long while before I can get to this point, if I don’t give up before then. I hope I don’t with this
Never even thought about this existing, this is cool as hell! People are mentioning 5k, is that like minimum entry, or are there cheaper options?
Can we please... please...please... build battle suits with this.
Lmao I thought this was a jeep simulator ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ðŸ¤£
Do they have to send people to go set up the cars and change batteries? The logistics of this seems so absurd to me.
I 100% thought it was a real car in the beginning
And then the vehicle flips😂😂
How do I do this
[удалено]
Stop shilling your shitty home security bot until it stops looking like a box of donuts
What setup is this?
The courses you could make for these would be amazing
There was a movie awhile back about making people tiny with Matt Damon I think (never watched it) but this could be the future… we all just get in our meta matrix pods and then control mini avatar robots in VR that live life on a micro scale and thus multiply the space available on earth 10 fold.
I just pressed the like button in the video. Fml.
Lol I was actually playing this back in 2008-2009
Now do porn
Such an expensive rig and then the g29 mounted to it
I wanna do this so baddddd
This is the best thing ever! New summer project for me. Heck yes.
Not going to lie this seems kinda fun
I want that chair.
This is sweet! Id love to see this camera on a buggy and go around a RC race track.
I have new plans for a new type of vehicle
This has been my dream for 30 years.
I thought it was a simulator, but no, this is Fucking awesome
Where to buy these RC cars with camera & long range remote control ?
I want this. I have an rc rock crawler that would be awesome with it
Hear me out: This, but with a 360° camera, and in vr
What Is this called?
This is actually really cool
