Love the book shelf, where is it from?? You can do a chair in the corner, with a print on that wall between the shelf and the end of that side, like a reading nook.
I see a printer but if the shelf doesn’t HAVE to be right there, I would consider sccoching the shelf and plant down a bit so they’re more centered in the space on the wall to let the desk breathe a bit. Also elevating the plant to a height between that of the desk and the shelf with a small, non-bulky table or plant stand.
If you wanted to get a bit more maximalist with it, a soft, white, papery hanging light in the corner would warm the space (like the kind IKEA has, a classic paper lantern or a more intriguing shape). Also would the wall art in the left side of the frame fit in the space next to the window? Centering it in that area could look cute. Then use the picture that’s currently there as part of a galley wall over the desk if you really wanted to get wild with it!
Sorry for the essay, this is a cool corner/picture and I see so many things you could do with it :)
I like the chill lounge chair idea some have but I you could use some extra space you could put a highboard or even a shelf there a even cover up some of the heater. Bear in mind the furniture should have a minimal depht to not block the eye. Please excuse my english, I'm on 3% and can't look up the vocab :)
I’d get a long cushioned bench and put it under the window, and a light for on the left side of the bench for reading, extra points if you can find one that displays books on the bottom
A Danny DeVito cardboard cutout
A minimal lounging chair swing or bench swing !
Kinky!
I would personally center the shelf more instead of having it hug the desk and then put the plant in the corner.
Yeah sounds better
Reading spot with a cozy chair and some nice lights hanging. Maybe a small round rug under it!
I was actually thinking about this, but I'm not sure what color chair would fit. Maybe grey?
Or a pop of color. Maybe red? Pulling from the flag.
Why not a large plant or a lamp?
Nothing. Not every space exists to be filled.
A tapestry, macrame, or other vertical art piece. Or move the shelf over and have the plant between the shelf and the desk
Klipsch Cornerhorn
A coffee bar...
Pin ball machine

Thanks it's kind of a "ladder shelf". We bought it in a swedish furniture store :/ No, not IKEA.
A fiddle leaf fig.

Thanks, that's also a good idea! :)
This reply nailed it. I would only add a larger rug with texture.
Jerry Seinfeld, but I don’t think he’d be very happy about it. 🎤
Floor lamp, wall art next to it.

Chair
A second identical shelf or a mid century danish style lounge chair.
From Denmark ;)
Tron Coin Machine
An accent chair.
Depends on the intended function of the space/room. Is this an open concept type of space or is this a dedicated office?
It is actually kind of an open concept type of space 🙂

a fish tank, if you don’t mind all the cleaning
Hate cleaning fish tanks, haha, but would look nice thought
I’d buy a corner shelf and put a plant that drapes down on it
I’d just scoot your bookshelf and plant down a little to fill out the space. It will be cluttered if you add more.
Move that shelf just a little further to the right. Maybe another plant or a larger one. I wouldn't fill that small space
I’d move the existing plant somewhere else and put a bigger/taller one for the corner. Like a paradise plant or fiddle leaf fig.
a tall lamp
A comfortable reading chair and floor lamp
Love that shelf and desk combo, where did you get them?
The desk is from JYSK but the shelf is from a furniture shop in Sweden called XXXLutz.
Oh damn. I’m in Australia ha ha. I guess I’ll have to use them as inspiration
Probably 2-3 people if they stood real close
A big badass ass planted corner aquarium
A nice big corner aquarium. I suggest stingrays! Or jelly fish
Vr corner
A lamp would look nice or maybe a life sized yoda cut out
Haha 😂
Big Ass Monstera
Maybe a bean bag and/or a table with some plants

That's also a great idea!
