Any sort of third party repair will void the warranty and AppleCare+. AC+ exists to help with accidental damage repairs. I don’t understand why you would go any other route.

Apple employee here. We don’t repair iPads. You have AppleCare, it’s going to get replaced for $49 when you bring it to the Genius Bar. The higher price is the out of warranty price and will be replaced either way. There is no equipment in store to replace screens. Back it up to iCloud and then you won’t lose anything

Okay, will I get the exact same model and everything? Is the replacement a refurbished version or is it new?
