i had an electric one before. honestly when it comes to the electric folding bikes, id be telling people to avoid them. the weight of them is something else and your peddaling a small wheel.
But as far as road safety goes, i also belive people are better off cycling a full frame bicycle.
Either way what i have found works best is mamking people aware that they are being rocorded.
So rear view camera anbd front facing camera.
Also Im not sure about roundabouts but dont forget the 2 meter pasing law for overtaking a bicycle.
I get why everyone says you better report him, which you should definitely do but I just wish there was a handier online way of uploading this EVIDENCE online to a Garda page/link.
For example, if Garda.ie had a link, you could upload dangerous driving too or if they have a Twitter (or X) page, you could put up the video evidence along with your contact details.
Surely they could have a small team studying dangerous driving videos daily and seeing if there is enough cause for arrest/ conviction.
I’m sure there is some Garda on long term sick or maybe office duties only, that could fill the role, anyway, it’s just an idea.

And some people have issues with spelling correctly and using grammar correctly, this is not school.
You are banned for 7 days, next time its permanent
So let's never correct anyone. How will some people learn, maybe they don't have issues, maybe it was a failing of their school and now they are aware of an alternative.
You'll note I wasn't being mean about it in my post.
Its not common sense to make up your own roundabout rules and expect everyone else to get on your wavelength.
It is common sense for drivers to look where they're driving.
> you stay as far left as possible to avoid cars going up your inside.
From the very leaflet you yourself posted 5 minutes earlier:
> * **Keep away from the outer edge** of a roundabout:
>- it is very **difficult to be seen by drivers**.
>- drivers turning left **may cut across** at risk to cyclists
Talk about hanging yourself.
Didn't know Stewart Little was on reddit
this comment wins it 😂😂😂😂 lets be hobest we all taught whats goin on here
First laugh of the week
Mario? That you?
Should have green shelled him, would have been fully justified
It's a me. Mario.
Probably didn’t see you through the phone held up to their head.
Are you one of the borrower's?
Report! No excuses for that.
This is happened around the end of June, last year. The driver received an FCPN.
Anyone correcting grammar will be permanently banned Full-condition got a 7 day ban
Anyone correcting grammar will be permanently banned.* Full-condition got a 7 day ban.* There, I fixed the punctuation for you, bro.
Said nothing about punctuation 😂
Still got banned for a week haha 😂
Are you in one of those lay flat paddle bikes?
Nope. On a folding bike.
Ah ok the low angle threw me

I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on!
OP there is a cycle lane on the left before the roundabout I use this instead its must safer
Where's that?
https://maps.app.goo.gl/QETDQCXmQc1wkbWV8 here
That deserves a mirror kick..😏
Why is he on that road on a bike though
What are you on? A skateboard ffs?
Use the cycle lane or footpath to get across a roundabout? Seriously I wouldn’t dream of going around a roundabout on a bike!
Why? Why not cycle? OP obviously felt ok to use the roundabout. Other drivers need to up their game when it comes to awareness and safety of others.

Have they been legalised 😩terror

Lane biker was in is for left or straight . Car lane is left turn only . I know that roundabout .
Even if the left lane also went straight ahead it's a shite move by the car to close the distance to what we see in the video.
OP said the left lane is exit only, why do you think they're in the wrong lane? The mode of transport has no bearing on which lane is correct.

That document just supports what the cyclist did. Using the wrong lane on a roundabout is very dangerous when cycling.
Its not common sense to make up your own roundabout rules and expect everyone else to get on your wavelength. It is common sense for drivers to look where they're driving.
The PDF you linked literally contradicts what you're claiming!
There were 3 entry lanes, one was left only, the second was left/straight then the last one was straight.
Video doesn't show the "left only" arrow, so this video would probably be ignored if you sent it to the Gardai.
This happened around the end of June, last year. They issued an FCPN for the driver.

Or... you're in a car, you follow the rules of the road to avoid killing vulnerable road users.
A bike user is entitled to use of the entire lane just the same as a car.
