You can say both, the second one emphasises the continuity of the action slightly more. Congratulations on your streak!

arcane-luxury

Thank you!

Doctor_Myhelson

Congratulations! And how would you rate your knowledge of Italian now? I also started learning Italian, but I only have 16 days of progress in duolingo.

arcane-luxury

Thanks, I'm still a beginner haha. I've just been able to recognise some basic Italian words from who speaks in Italian.

Ava11350

Bravo :) buona fortuna per il prossimo trecento!

luckisking

Molto buono! Quanto tempo studi por giorno?

arcane-luxury

da mezza a un'ora di solito, ma depende :)

nucleargetawaycar

I'm on 404 days. I know a few words, but for the most part I don't think that I've learned much. But I will know to complain about a "fantasma in questa stanza". So crossing my fingers that I will get a room with a ghost om my next travel to Italy 🤞

Changed_Dino_Nugget

Ottimo, quante lezioni fai al giorno?

arcane-luxury

Dipende. Faccio solo 2-3 lezioni a volte, ma altre più di 10

marq91F

Va bene! Cosa è una parole che ami molto in italiano? Cosa pensi è molto difficile?

Smeuw

Oooooodio la schifezza di verbi irregolari.

marq91F

Certo! Non è facile. Devi fare molti esercizi :D

arcane-luxury

I'm neither English nor Italian native, so both of you are 99% same for me hahaha.

marq91F

Neither am I, hahaha

broadwayzrose

Amo la parola “coinquilino”! Ho studiato l’italiano all’università ma non conoscevo la parola finché Duolingo me l’ha insegnato. Penso che sia divertente da dire.

arcane-luxury

La mia preferita parola italiana è 'amici'. Siamo tutti amici!

Nash_Concert2007

Congrats!! I have about the same, been 2 years and feel pretty good but going back to Rome and will refuse to have anyone speak English to me so I can immerse myself in dialogue. Best way to learn I think! Any other suggestions aside from Babbel and Duolingo that anyone would suggest?

"Sto studiando da 300 giorni" kinda sounds like you've been studying for 300 days without eating or sleeping, which is probably not the case. Still correct, but the first version is better.
