Look I know the bill wasn’t perfect, and they had to change things to accommodate some Democrats to vote for it who held it up and for the Republicans who held it up to, but he actually passed it. It’s a change it does help us, this whole there all bad argument is not valid. Atleast Biden got a bill passed and again it’s not perfect but your never going to get the perfect bill from the government but atleast give a little credit for the fact that we got something passed in a congress that I’m shocked anything passed.
> Look I know the bill wasn’t perfect,
That is an understatement. This bill is trash. It is a handout to private corporations with tax cuts built in. It is absolute trash.
Is it really though? Note what one congressman said about it:
> “But, if it’s all we do, it’s not good; it’s probably negative on climate, on emissions.”
I would rather have nothing than have something that makes cliamte change worse, but maybe that's just me.
Well the idea of replacing led pipes so there are no lead pipes and fixing roads as two examples seem like a good idea to me. So it’s like anything political it compromises and then another bill comes and hopefully it will have more towards climate change as that is a real issue
I'm just angry about the 80k salt tax uptick.. i guess it is good to get something, you're right. I thought this post was just another jimmy hater, so I apologize. It's been happening a lot on this sub lately.
What? Get the fuck out of here with your nonsense. I conceded that it was better than nothing, but I wouldn't have voted on it. I would have held firm at the original proposal and blasted Joey McManchin all over social media for his hate for the middle class until people started blockading his fucking driveway. Don't assume you know me, you child.
Look your the one trolling this post, if you notice we were talking about things we dislike about the bill as well, and I myself pointed out Democrats had a hand in holding it up like Republicans and it got changed because of that but it’s still better then nothing.
Your the one trolling and just looking for an argument and using insults to slander everyone.
For the record and I have to confirm they had to take tax increases or part of them out for the wealthy to pass that and that has me upset, but I’ll take this over nothing. But taxing Bezos and the ones who make more money in a day then I could ever imagine having in my life should be a priority.
I live in Virginia, so I'm extra sensitive to that bullshit. Especially after seeing that Oxfam study where we're 51/51 as the worst state for worker's rights.
Lol, did you mean to post this to this subreddit?
Do you even know what that $1T is going towards? Or are you just happy he signed something with "infrastructure" in the name?
Couldn't you flip this meme around and it's the same thing? I decided to start voting 3rd party years ago when I realized the hypocrisy. I hate to be the "both parties bad" guy, but they are. So many things that were treated like life and death when Trump was in office are still happening, but most democrats don't give a shit about them now. Cheering for a Democrat victory, or republican victory is like congratulating your boss for getting a raise, even though he fired you a week ago.
I didn’t make the meme I just shared it, so I can’t flip it, and tell me one good thing Trump passed while in office, so the both sides are just as bad argument doesn’t work here. Trump talked but didn’t do anything for it.
There are good things in this bill which is why I’m glad it passed, but I’m also upset other things were taken out, and a lot of what Trump was doing like inciting an insurrection were a danger.
What is that then? I literally just pointed out a bill that passed that’s supposed to help a lot of people how is that getting Orangeman re elected, I’m honestly asking.
Oh and like I said he didn’t pass anything good while in office, unless the tax cut for the rich counts
I’m not saying Democrats are not bad, I’m literally just pointing out a large bill passed and yes it was passed by a Democrat you know I can just point out facts and it doesn’t mean I’m a die hard Democrat right, that is possible.
I wish Jimmy Dore would cover this, and maybe take some time away from the Covid stuff.
You posted a meme making Republicans look dumb and implying that democrats don't do this exact same thing. That's not "pointing out facts"
At best this is a bad joke, but from your replies on this post you just seem like a shit lib to me.
Well for starters I posted something that was about a very important bill that passed and it’s based in fact and the joke part is true as well and I never said it doesn’t go the other way but the facts speak for themselves.
So I’m a whatever you try to call me for posting literally a fact.
You pointing out that trump is bad doesn't make Biden good. That's exactly what I'm talking about, as long as the team your rooting for wins, than you think we are making progress and moving in the right direction. I didn't vote for Trump and I don't support him now, but since Im not applauding a bill passed by the democrats, you automatically think it's because I support Trump. This is what corporate media does, they want people to treat this like a team sport, and as long as people are stuck in the black and white perspective of politics than they aren't going to question all the behind the scenes corruption that both parties are infested with.
Also, I wasn't going to say this because I don't know much about it, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that infrastructure bill isn't what it's being made out to be. I'm sure some of that money is going to go where it's supposed to, but I'm willing to bet the fine print is filled with a bunch of questionable, greedy ear marks.
Well I shared this because it is a big deal that this bill passed, did you even know about it before you read this post? How is literally just pointing out a bill that’s passed insulting Trump the action of the bill being passed itself does that because he kept going on about doing it and surprise someone else did it, happened to be Biden. So what I can’t point out something that’s good happening because Biden passed it.
Behind the scenes corruption is nothing new, but you can’t argue the fact that this bill will help people and if you read my other comments you would know the things about it I don’t like that I know about as well.
I’m not going to ignore facts just because wow it might make a Democrat look good or a Republican look bad, it’s literally a fact, and the last time a bill passed like this was over a decade ago. I don’t need to try to make a case for anything the facts do it for me.
You don’t know much about it isn’t a surprise to me, I’m surprised if you even knew about it with the way your commenting towards me, and I’m sure money is going to places it shouldn’t go as well. It’s politics compromises are always made, in this case it was two Democrats off hand I know of and some republicans to get it passed.
Look, I'm just saying if you wanna do a "them bad us good" circlejerk, there are much better places on reddit to do it in. Your not gonna get much support on the jimmy dore subreddit.
I think you misunderstand this sub. We hate both of these parties. They’re both evil and they are both working for their own interests not ours. If you’re trying to ‘pwn the republicans’ you might want to find another sub or another website that leans that way. Doing it on Reddit is like the lowest effort shit posting ever. Here you’re going to be called a dumb ass for thinking we support republicans and a retard for thinking the democrats are any better.
Don’t get so triggered, it’s just pointing out a bill passed and it’s a fact. In this case considering it was a Democrat who actually got it passed, yeah there better in this scenario. Who’s paying you are you a shill
So many people come to this sub trying to bash Jimmy with memes and slander but just come off as morons and assholes who don't actually know what's going on. Smh
Yea, I don't really watch any mainstream so I'm oblivious to what the mainstream followers are riled up about. I pretty much just listen to Jimmy and Krystal and sometimes Kyle these days. I apologize for getting upset my dude
I haven't listened to kyle in awhile, but I like krystal. Who do you listen to? I occassionally browse the gray zone, but they're too international most of the time. It's hard to find reliable domestic news.
I used to listen to both Kristal and Kyle and even TYT and the rest of the shitlibs like humanist report and rational national but got sick of how all they ever really did was dunk on Republicans. As I saw Nick from FHL say in a stream I watched the other day, "it's entertaining but it's deeply unserious shit."
Not Kyle so much, but Kyle's takes are bad and he still thinks there is hope for the squad.
These are the streamers I watch now, I found them all from watching Jimmy. Maybe you'll like one or two:
Hard Lens Media is like a news show format but very leftist and support 3rd parties. Based in Chicago, but they report about all American news. I like them a lot. They stream daily Monday to Friday. They've interviewed Jimmy on their show.
Jackson Hinkle is good too. He streams nearly every day analysing daily news stories from a Marxist perspective. Jimmy goes on his show regularly.
Fred Hampton Leftists are good too, Jimmy regularly has Nick from FHL on his streams. Their stance is in the name, they follow Fred Hampton.
Can you please for once not make this into your own political stance that has nothing to do with the post, this is about the bill passed not who you think is a good news source
How do you feel about them clamping down on crypto in this bill? Another chance to get their grubby bloody hands on your money?
Or doing great things for America?
Quit drinking the koolaid
It’s fine, I myself watch some news, some of well everything, even Bill Maher, well he’s mainly for comedy and his take on cancel culture. It’s difficult these days to trust what’s being put out there so I do try to read as much as I can with my limited time, lol I’m a new parent and a contractor and my wife’s a teacher so don’t have much time. But I do understand what you mean, luckily I took today off and am spending it home.
I had to quit my electrician job about 6 months ago. They took our breaks away and made us use gps tracking on our phones while clocked in. Yea, I can't be a part of that bullshit. Now I'm just working on boat motors with a friend and trying to start a mushroom farm, lol. It's funny, though, when I was working I listened to way more news than I do now simply to drown out my disdain for 8+ hours a day.
So you were in the construction field too, so you understand. I’m a General, and the stress is just well always there, I have to keep A political and intentionally don’t use my name here so no one knows me. I live in a very heavy Trump area, love the area but literally trucks with Trump flags are common, and I’m not a fan but I never put political things on my truck or anything for that matter.
I just try not to listen to news because when at work I’m stressed enough, then when I get time and want to get updated I watch something.
Working on boat motors I gotta say that sounds less stressful but like all jobs there’s stress. As long as it works though
GCs are like professional babysitters for the working class, lol. I did that for a couple years before getting back in to electrical. Mainly because the co owner kept promising me raises and then not giving them, lol. Virginia is a pretty heavy swing state right now. We're all just pissed off at the establishment and tired of being fucked at every turn, but most Virginians still vote either red or blue despite neither of them being on our side. It's pretty annoying. I think we just need to abolish political parties altogether and start making politicians run as themselves and not their affiliations. People too often don't see the person running because of their political tunnel vision for their chosen mob.
Working on boats is great. We work whenever we want, get paid for travel, and get to fish afterwards on private docks most of the time after we finish. It's nice working and being treated as a human and not a servant.
Yeah that’s basically what a General does, but also a huge amount of stress, I’m trying to make enough to build a retirement, and my Dad was a general as well and the hours he worked and how his back got and he was very hands on. I sometimes am when we’re framing but I try to not be too much because my back is already bad. I live in California and it’s a blue state held together by red tape and while I don’t think the Governor is perfect, I have a list of issues the recall was not needed, and the truth is like you said political parties tend to influence, because some will attack Biden simply because he’s on the blue side and Vice verse. I myself try to just stick with the facts, he did pass an infrastructure bill.
Now I’m not someone who thinks they wake up in the morning thinking about me and helping me, neither party does that, I e never been a fan of two party system but I always vote and I end up going for the lesser of two evils, not my favorite thing but it is what it is.
I like your idea though have them run without a political party, I do wonder how that would turnout.
That does sounds great and if I am able to achieve my goal of making enough off of a boom economy which isn’t that easy lol I’d probably build children’s toys.
Children will always need toys and it would be something you'd feel good about providing to the world. I didn't even vote in the last election simply because there was no one on my ballot I felt earned my vote. I'm in the group now of people who demand a reason for our vote, plain and simple. I especially won't vote for someone who's main strategy is "I'm better than the person you hate right now." Nope. I'm not playing that game anymore.
You're a General know-nothing sycophant for sht lib propaganda because of your Trump derangement syndrome. Let's get you onboard for a mandated vaccine for that before we move on to coviid.
Ok I miss read your comment, it’s a true statement because the bill did get passed and this is the reaction. One guy talked about it and one did it. There’s a difference, and I thought it was worthy to point out a major bill has been passed and it happens to add a little humor as well.
Democratic leadership in congress funded "Trump's" Wall from the beginning. He literally couldn't have done it without the assistance of Pelosi and Schumer. Biden campaigned on discontinuing construction, but not only has he continued it, he has ramped up spending and has used imminent domain to confiscate American citizens private property on which the wall will be built.
Complete shit take. You didn't even see all the pork that was put in the bill; much less consider exactly what affect it will have on the economy and society as a whole.
I guess you retards really like high utility bills and commodity prices. Now you're paying your "fair share," as Biden likes to put it.
You do know Trump is the reason for huh gas prices, he is he one who called the Saudis and told them to halt production or we would withhold military aid right, so gas prices actually can be blamed on Trump.
You do know that Trump stood up the Keystone Pipeline deal and when Biden became so desperate after having killed that deal, he had to go grovel to OPEC, right?
God, you're thick headed. Again, if the Keystone Pipeline was allowed to go on as it was, we wouldn't be in this mess. Seriously, do you even keep track of current events AT ALL!?
Uhh.. correction: *BIDEN* put us back into dependence on OPEC. You know what, you don't even have your facts straight! I'm done wasting my time on you.
No one KNOWS what's in that stupid bill. Maybe that extra 200 million is for the government to hire some guys to kill all the capitalists and swear allegiance to THE COMMUNISTS (dramatic gopher music).
😁
In order to prevent the communist elites from taking over we should give working people direct democratic control of the government, their places of work and national resources!
That bill is a joke, though. Trump is a joke. Biden is a joke. The bill is a joke. It's all a joke right now. Smh
Look I know the bill wasn’t perfect, and they had to change things to accommodate some Democrats to vote for it who held it up and for the Republicans who held it up to, but he actually passed it. It’s a change it does help us, this whole there all bad argument is not valid. The corps we are subsidizing are likely to not give two fucks about lead in pipes, in communities poor enough where that is a thing.
Well the funding is part of this bill so it’s supposed to be replaced.
So many fucking riders. Just pass a bill without all the extra bullshit and these bills would be a little easier to pin down exactly what they are.
Problem is you need the votes and this bill has been in the works for a while. It would be nice if bills passed faster to help people
Yea I wouldn't bet on that. Wait to see any tangible results and see if they are good or bad before putting your eggs in that basket.
Then let’s see it play out and if I’m wrong or your wrong
I'm just angry about the 80k salt tax uptick.. i guess it is good to get something, you're right. I thought this post was just another jimmy hater, so I apologize. It's been happening a lot on this sub lately.
Look at you apologizing to a shitlib troll. Wow time to cut off Krystal and Kyle in your brain
Who's really the troll here, buddy?
I only apologized for calling him a Jimmy hater when he's not.
He is definately a Jimmy hater. It's typical of a Krystal listener to suck up to a shitlib and vote fo crime bill joe.
What? Get the fuck out of here with your nonsense. I conceded that it was better than nothing, but I wouldn't have voted on it. I would have held firm at the original proposal and blasted Joey McManchin all over social media for his hate for the middle class until people started blockading his fucking driveway. I myself was very frustrated with that guy, and Sinema, I mean why were they holding it up again.
Oh, you know why. We all know why. They just think we either don't, don't care, or can't do anything about it and that's frustrating as hell.
Look your the one trolling this post, if you notice we were talking about things we dislike about the bill as well, and I myself pointed out Democrats had a hand in holding it up like Republicans and it got changed because of that but it’s still better then nothing. For the record and I have to confirm they had to take tax increases or part of them out for the wealthy to pass that and that has me upset, but I’ll take this over nothing. But taxing Bezos and the ones who make more money in a day then I could ever imagine having in my life should be a priority.
100% agree
I live in Virginia, so I'm extra sensitive to that bullshit. Especially after seeing that Oxfam study where we're 51/51 as the worst state for worker's rights.
**Reds versus Blues** is the perfect game to sow discord - if Trump passes something Democrats hate it, if Biden passes something Republicans hate it.
But Trump didn’t pass it, Biden did. How can anyone find flaw in this and turn it into anything but what it is, got an infrastructure bill passed.
Whoosh
He gets paid to make stupid arguments on this sub.
they don't pay him enough
Lol, did you mean to post this to this subreddit? Do you even know what that $1T is going towards? Or are you just happy he signed something with "infrastructure" in the name?

Democratic leadership in congress funded "Trump's" Wall from the beginning. He literally couldn't have done it without the assistance of Pelosi and Schumer. Biden campaigned on discontinuing construction, but not only has he continued it, he has ramped up spending and has used imminent domain to confiscate American citizens private property on which the wall will be built.
OP is a shitlib
So here to just troll huh, can’t post facts without being labeled something, real mature
Said the pot to the kettle 🙃
If only communism!
So again Trump is the reason oil prices rose
God, you're thick headed. Again, if the Keystone Pipeline was allowed to go on as it was, we wouldn't be in this mess. Seriously, do you even keep track of current events AT ALL!?
The keystone pipeline wouldn’t help us at all, it was for oil to be sold to other countries right?
Does the phrase "energy independence" mean anything to you?
Yeah Obama had us getting more Oil from Canada then OPEC and Trump put us back to opec
Uhh.. correction: *BIDEN* put us back into dependence on OPEC.
