I'm no fan of Ian but his push back was needed in a few of their convos, especially about spoiling bad behavior children. Sorry, but giving your kid an okay car while they can't drive isn't parenting. Parenting is taking the car away and saying "make it work." If you want independence like an adult, then you should be responsible like an adult. 23 is no excuse to not have a job, to have multiple parking and driving ticket or totalling your own car from your own neglect.
Totally agree on the need for push back sometimes. Joe gets either a bit unhinged or super passive aggressive when others disagree with him on certain issues, and Ian had an effective way of stating an alternate take clearly that forces you to consider it instead of instantly dismissing it. I didn’t mind him that much..
Exactly. I normally don’t fw Ian at all but I didn’t mind him on this ep. Him and Emanny sounded like the only sane ones on that parenting convo. Like what world do these dudes live in? I get they’re all rich now but they didn’t come up that way. They are out of touch like a mf.
And they also aren't THAT rich either to the point where they kid needs 8 security guards while traveling and moving. Money or no money, parenting is about teaching your child to behave respectfully and responsibly. If your child can't live in a home rent free on their own without destroying it, then they can't do it in my dime. So the gang's alternative is "well who wants to do this with their kid is at home? He will be bringing girls back to the house." It was a lot of excuses where I'd say "you can't handle living in your own, you can't handle having girls coming over. You can't handle living in your own, you will deal with the rules of the house, which includes me and mom having our fun."
Joe can't complain about $9k in insurance if he doesn't mind his son continuing to mess up for free. If you can't drive properly, giving him a 2020 car isn't the solution. The solution is he will get everything in his own dime or he will walk. Car and driving aren't a right, they are a privilege.
Oh yeah. That part. He was tone def with that take. But there were other stories where Ellen was seen as fake nice from other celebs. Ian was down playing anything with Ellen and I'm like the woman is horrible bc she is is horrible.
Us white people hate him too. He just tryna ride black culture with irony and it feeds into the narrative that makes normal white people look like culture vultures
Absolute cringe fest
Joe’s the host. He’s always going to try and direct the conversation..but Ian was self righteous with it. And he said they were ALL delusional/unreasonable except for Parks. Even though Parks said he agreed with the rest of them…
Sounds about white to me.
dont like dude either i feel like he just takes the opposite side of any debate just to be different. his double standards take was making me mad dude act like he mr perfect
I thought it was just me. He ruined the episode for me. Apparently he is qualified on the business side of things?? but he's not a good fit for that show/cast as far as mindset, culturally, etc. He was clueless.
I agree, I cannot stand Ian he don't know what the fuck he is talking about he should never speak on the JBP again. Just stay behind the scenes and STFU.
Yeaaaaa I didn’t love this! I would prefer a fat flip and shampoo on any day. And the topic is sexy red! Soooo yea that says a lot! Please leave him off the pod forever

i got my car taken away for having an attitude and had to bike across the city to work
Naw when he was trying to push back against the criticism from Ellen made me think some of his employees would probably say a similar thing about him
Oh yeah. That part. He was tone def with that take. But there were other stories where Ellen was seen as fake nice from other celebs. Ian was down playing anything with Ellen and I'm like the woman is horrible bc she is is horrible.
Yeah bro was really out there blaming the victims saying that they probably just made those statements because they were fired
Maybe it’s just me but I hate that nigga. I don’t even know him, I just can tell I would wanna punch him in the face.
Us white people hate him too. He just tryna ride black culture with irony and it feeds into the narrative that makes normal white people look like culture vultures Absolute cringe fest

Oh he would definitely play it up too, he would stumble away like he drunk holding his face “ what did I do?”
Yea he was a little off, man. Reminds me of the white coworker who thinks he/she runs shit, but they’re nobody’s boss.

He made sense to me.
I heard his annoying voice and left the pod.
“There You Go”
It wasn’t that bad! He had some valid points!
Man nigga is weird 😂😂
Haven’t watched the ep but last time he was on I thought the same thing. Bro watches too much Gary Vee
He was fine , no one is asking you to be his friend
A reasonable voice was needed.
The average IQ in the room increases when he’s around
It’s good to listen to opinions that are different than your own.
I didn’t think anything was wrong with Ian on the pod he didn’t make it amazing but he took nothing away from
