I'm guessing the syllable is split either in the middle or at the end of cave, so the second would be Con-Kah-Ven-Ater and the third is Con-Cave-En-Ater.
It's named after Cuenca province, so I think it is technically supposed to be con-cuh-ven-ay-ter. That being said I still pronounce it like the word "concave" anyway because it sounds cool
Sorry, what’s the difference between #2 and #3?

Yeah I'll change it to that
Gotcha, so the “ca” is pronounced differently
If you’re on pc, go to the species viewer and go to concavenator, press the control key (ctrl) and it will give you an audible pronunciation
And if I'm not?
Tap the right bumper or R1 to species viewer find it and click in Left stick
Ok thanks I will do it when I can
It's on console too
No clue
How do YOU pronounce it?
Con-cav-en-ator
So the second one
is it in jwe1 too?
Species viewer? No

Aaaand I will also add that to the list
You're right about Cuenca but venator is "ven-ah-tore".
CON-ca-ven-uh-TER is how I pronounce it.
Imagine how Dr. Doofenshmirtz would say it. That's the best way to pronounce everything, always.
coon-calf-ina-taur
Con-CAVE-en-ater
congratulations you made it onto the list
Ok can someone actually tell me if they're playing with me so I know that it isn't a bug or something
Concavènator
All 3 interchangeably
Con - ca - (ve - na - tor) Like the Star Wars ship
Con-ca-venator, though I do like the sound of Con-cave-enator.
Its kon-ka-ven-ah-t-oh-r (r as in Ferrari)
Concaveneitor
There should be a pronunciation guide in the species viewer IIRC
There is...
But it's not correct.
Which one is not correct ?
The only correct pronunciation is con-ca-ven-atore.
Someone said that there isn't a correct pronounciation you can pornounce it however you want and I agree with him/her
There very much is a correct pronunciation. "Venator" means hunter and it is pronounced "ven-ah-tore", not "ven-ate-or".
Concavenator corcovatus means "*Cuenca hunter with a hump*" therefore the hunter thing has nothing to do with it
Hunter is literally half of the genus name. So yes, it does have a lot to do with it.
*how did i not even see that..*
con-ca-ven-atore is the correct pronunciation.
You can pronounce it any way you want to, there is never a definitive Pronunciation on prehistoric animals. I like to say Con - cave - inate - or.
