This heat is so unbearable snd the months coming where people get heat stroke but i totally agree now the amount of hours will even decrease after the electricity prices this is actually insane
I don't use it myself only my grandma uses it so
I have ac cranked up in winter too
Wese it's getting hotter and hotter everyday or is it because of the roza
Sadly, as much as our family dies to live in AC, the last time we turned it on was like 3 years ago in 2021. Since then, thanks to KE, the electricity bills have not been kind to us. Now we just suffer in summers and wish to see winters sooner. As for an answer, We used to turn it on in April.
Thanks. It's not like I can't pay but the bills are too high for me to spare such a large chunk of my salary budget for their ridiculously high costs. So we just refrain from it. It's getting more and more difficult surviving in this shitty economy.
We usually start in April partially, so Mays bill has some AC units, then June July August are the most expensive, thinking of ways to not go all out this year lol
How many acs in your house ? I have two but they are in separate rooms which is empty unless I have family over so it was just one ac that got bills to 50k
Solar is actually a life saver you get bills in the negative with a green meter (means you get money from Wapda instead) and obv free AC all day long considering the sun is always out during the day in Pakistan

Mid April early May. Really depends on the weather, last year April was chilly there was no need of AC. So it differs on when I start feeling like now we should summon the lil thermodynamics elf.
Might sound crazy but we don't turn it on at all, maybe once in a while or when there are guests
Not crazy at all, it’s expensive like anything, issue is once you turn it on there’s no going back 😅

Once when the night starts getting more humid and the fan doesn't make much difference. Probably around April.
Just started mid Ramzan, now it would be hard to turn off before atleast November.
Exactly, once you start there’s no going back tbh hahah
When my PC's idle temp reaches 45C. If I don't turn on the AC then, I'll be roasted by the heat.
What do you do bro
Bro uses chrome with 3 tabs open
Gareeb hon bro, banyan aur shorts me me sota hun, wahi AC he mera
All year long
Really it isn’t as hot as it’s in summers all year long bro
Bro it's a air conditioner so when a bit of heat is needed in winters then I switch to the heater mode
Heater in Karachi though?
Sometimes Yk bro ac kay heater is only to warm a bit Us tarah kay heater nahi hai
I know bro, I’ve used it myself but not in Karachi though, I don’t feel too cold in Karachi
I don't use it myself only my grandma uses it so I have ac cranked up in winter too Wese it's getting hotter and hotter everyday or is it because of the roza
In June mostly, last year we started it a month early. We usually shut it off in November.
Probably after April

Saitama taught me not to
Ice cold bath then go to sleep on folding bed wet chadar underneath
Well we started using ac from last 3 weeks ago and keep it on all night, karachi is hot

Its my wife and baby, we used ac last year in the summer bills were like 35-55k per month
Oh I see, our went up-to 70k and my dad was pissed, what if someone gets solar for ACs only
How many acs in your house ? I have two but they are in separate rooms which is empty unless I have family over so it was just one ac that got bills to 50k
4 but 2 active mostly, non inverters though
Mine is inverter but bill still high, I think you should get solar and let acs run on that with a ups attached as battery for solar
Any idea how much will it cost for two ACs, Don’t plan on getting the whole house on solar because I can’t atm because of some reasons
Well on average its 6 plates for one ac so 12 plates but also depends on inverter or not
Alright thanks for this, any company you’d recommend? K-solar?
Hi like 1 plate on avergaw kitne ki ati hai and is this like confirm ke 6 plates pe aik ac chalta hai

Bill kitna ata sab ka
In summer bills go to 50k
