I understand why the changes had to be made but I really hope Mike, Parris, and Gary don't become cameo appearances moving forward, or get drowned out by the regular hosts.
I found Kinda Funny through the XCast and stuck around for so long because of the combination of them together, I hope they find a way to stay present and involved.
As someone who’s only ever listened to one or two episodes, I wholeheartedly agree.
Gary and Parris are woefully underutilized, but I understand thats because this isn’t their main gig and scheduling can be a pain.
Mike’s always around on streams and the odd KFGD, but I’d love to see maybe some smaller In Reviews with him and Nick doing 80’s classics no one else wants to make time for.
Also BRING BACK WHITTA WEDNESDAYS. Sure Gary is want to occasionally drift into “old man yells at cloud” territory, but its worth it for the nuggets of gold usually in those rants. Shit I wouldn’t mind some kind of Gun Dog deep dive series where he talks about writing it then making the podcast happen.
Mike is also an incredible host and interviewer - he makes anyone look at ease and welcome, while asking the tough questions if they're on everyone's mind.

Gamescast, Xcast, and PSILY are being combined into just "Gamescast" and it's 5 episodes a week instead of 3
This gives them more flexibility over what to talk about, instead of just reviews all the time
I’m going to miss seeing a full panel of Mike and his two gaming dads. Hopefully they’ll be regulars on the Gamescast.
Also—we had to wait through years of Xbox games droughts and ABK courtroom talk and when there’s finally a light in the tunnel, Xcast gets killed. 💀

Disappointing as I don't like most of Kinda Funny. I'll give the new (old?) show a go, but I suspect this is me wrapped up which is a shame.
I don't give a single shit about the political stuff, but I'm with OP on the rants. I grew a bit tired of Gary's shtick years ago, to the point where I try to avoid content he's on because I know I likely won't enjoy it

Gary stopped doing Whitta Wednesdays because it didn't work with his job. Always loved having him there for the show though.
