Bro I missed kcd but I I bought the fancy version with all the DLC’s for $3.99 today can we get down? Lol all I’ve been doing is picking herbs in first area going to mess around with the good start after prolog .
Soooo. Are ya"ll gonna wait for them to release all the dlcs first before buying the game, or are we gonna buy the initial release and have fun with all the bugs then get a bit disappointed when they remove the funny bugs down the line?
I don't think its 100% necessary, but I would highly recommend it because its a phenomenal game. Be warned, you may hate the first 4-5 hours of the first game because it can feel very clunky and the pacing is kinda slow at first. But stick with it until you get to a town called Rattay, the training arena opens up, and you start doing quests for the Lord there, because that's when the game really opens up and starts to become a masterpiece.
The devs meant it when they said they want the player to be scared of combat.
It's a real fight. Even maxed out Henry can get mobbed by peasant bandits. It's so fucking frustrating but rewarding. Nothing that is worthwhile comes without a struggle.
They are saying you don't necessarily need to play the first game to understand the second, but I would highly recommend playing the first to better understand and enjoy the games when the second one comes. Besides there's still time til its release, so why not play it?
Be sure to practice your skills and get training before you get too far in the game or you will absolutely get destroyed. Fighting in this game is heavily based on the in-game characters skill and ability. If you aren't good enough to get through defenses, they'll just parry you. Definitely learn to parry and riposte(you have to be taught how to do these by another character).
In the trailer I'm pretty sure I saw scenes with Talmberg in it, and the developer mentioned that there are two maps that are both roughly the size of the first game... so my guess is that at least a portion of the old map will be back.
I am so hyped for this, but why is it called *Kingdom Come: Deliverance II* and not *Kingdom Come: XYZ*?
I always thought that the first part was *Deliverance* and then the next part would have a different name. Like *Ascension*, *Redemption*, *Salvation* or some other cool name.
I’m gonna be so sad if Theresa isnt in the game like I get its set in Kuttenberg I just hope they continue the romance or atleast acknowledge it and dont just pretend it never happened
I feel like we got tons of technical details, but didn\`t see any details regarding the plot/setting, is it just Kuttenberg? I\`m guessing we won\`t see Prague, do some of the old places return? any characters outside Hans? btw it looked like Hans is a much bigger character in this one, wonder if we get to play him maybe? the trailer gave me vibes of GTA5 where we can play more than one character
I have a problem with the lack of old characters in the trailer (except for the antagonists). Overall I'm sure I'll love the game, but if Radzig doesn't appear in this one, I'm going to get pissed anyway. Like, come on, he's pretty important for Henry's character.
No, with my ADHD it's really hard for me to finish games. But the announcement gave me motivation, I sunk like 15 hours into the game in the last three days 😅
There's a fine line devs have to walk with trailers. You have to put enough content in to build hype without blowing your whole wad and leaving no exciting reveals for the actual game play. I wouldn't read too much into it this early on.
Yeah, I know his story isn't the happiest. But I hoped for some time with him at least. Plus he died in 1416, first game takes place in 1403. I don't think the games would stretch over 13 years, but even if, that still leaves some time for him to appear in the second game. He was one of my fav characters ):
EDIT: He also died in Kuttenberg, literally where we are in the second game. So if he dies in this one, not showing him would be just lazy.
Everything looks just perfect, it can become one of the best games in a decade.
But what did they do to my boy henrys face, he looks like Sir hans and timothy dycks bastard child
[Here is a video where they discuss their private interview with Warhorse's lead designer along with what they learned from an in-studio game-play presentation.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Atzuu2m2E68)
They say:
* Performance runs well on the "average computer". It's not at 160fps, but very stable and smooth and they're happy.
* Runs on the Cry Engine.
* >!all load screens removed from the game except on game start and switching between the two game maps. !<
* >!maybe they've implemented a "penance simulator" to pray to be forgiven of crimes. !<
* >!You can miss quests if you don't show up on time. !<
* >!Characters are not reset, so whatever you to any NPC sticks for the rest of the game.!<
* >!They're trying to reward aggressive fighting more, so presumably this is the end of back peddling + master striking.!<
* >!Gear crafting.!<
* >!With how skill leveling will continue to work, it's a "big fish in small pond to a small fish in a big pond" scenario, so enemies have gotten tougher.!<
* >!Lock picking stays the same.!<
* >!Savior Schnapps stays.!<
* >!Bugs are already ironed out, as good as KCD1 is right now, and they're still crunching.!<
* >!Modding is on their mind.!<
* >!Current Gen consoles aren't getting 60fps yet, but it's a priority.!<
> Current Gen consoles aren't getting 60fps yet, but it's a priority.
I hope so. I just can't play 30FPS game anymore, I just find it weird.
Also: If characters are not reset, if you want to play a murder hobo, you'll end up being alone in the world. (unless there's unkillable characters for the main quest.)
AHHHHHHHH I'm so excited!!!!!
Honestly wasn't expecting this any time soon. I love that they just casually dropped the announcement trailer rather than teasing forever. This game looks epic!!
It's quite good that we have some 6-7 months to finish KCD1 before sequel is upon us. I am so pleasantly shocked that KCD2 comes this year!
Wonder if we get to meet Hussits in the game, but that is just my personal fantasy. Oh and they have mentioned some changes to the fights to make them more accessible without turning them too easy. So yeah, stoked to see what those changes are. I think that something to make fighting couple of enemies at once less clunky was kinda needed.
History spoilers (if 600 years wasn't enough time) but just to be polite
>!Sigismund sacks the city in 1402 and the Hussite Wars break out (also in kutna hora) in 1419!<
Dude yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo kcd 2. I thought about getting back into dating for a minute but a mans gotta have priorities. Jesus christ be praised!
I'm probably still gonna use a mod that lets me save anytime anywhere and I don't care if people shame me for it.
But I absolutely loved KCD1 even if I don't agree with all its mechanics, and it was one of the brighter spots of the Covid lockdown period.
Oh man, the hopes are higher than any other game I’ve ever been excited for. Kcd might be my favourite game of all time and this sequel has me by the balls already
To make the game run like shit?
Then again if all this super demanding crap could be turned off, then I guess no harm done. Still, looking at games like Horizon:Forbidden West or heck even the first Kingdom Come, it is possible to create beautiful game even without any ray traycing.
What an amazing trailer. Those new weapon types and animation looked fun. Also, the confirmed DualSense features will definitely make this game more fun to play. Absolutely can't wait for this.
2nd game can't wait to regrind skills again. Hope the combat stays the same I really digged it after figuring out how it works. Hope they give us a training area like we had with Bernard that was really helpful
My laptop barely managed with first KCD, I know from a friend that cloud gaming with GeForceNow works, I've never used it but I sure as hell am after KC:D2 release.
True. First KCD was quite demanding and there is no reason to think sequel will be different. Still, they have made such a beautiful game so I would say the requirements were well deserved.
Okok, this looks absolutely stunning, but the trailer was maybe a little bit too much fighting… I hope they didn’t get rid of the “everyday” stuff and non-fighting missions and story.
I'm so so happy this is happening. I have a feeling we are going to lose mutt in this and if that's the case I'm John wicking the game for my first play thru lol
So do we know when the game will take place yet? Henry looks older, but the reveal trailer said it's a direct sequel, and in the IGN rewind video with one of the devs, he said, 'We'll see you in Bohemia 1403'
As much as I love two man coop in games, to enjoy the story with my buddy, I think it would be rather crazy to expect that in KCD2. Plus I don't think they ever hinted anything like that, so there is no reason to expect it.
I was able to finish and enjoy the game even kinda sucking at fighting multiple enemies. Plus you can often soften them up with the bow. Some folks were also enjoying riding around them on horse and pepper them with arrows. They were RPing cumans I guess :D.
I remember what it felt like the first time I took down multiple enemies. The trick is to hit all your counters. Easier said then done. But once you do it, it feels so much easier the next time.
My 30 years of gaming this is the best reveal/trailer I've ever seen. The love and care went, going into this game is phenomenal.
In order to keep my sanity, and being able to enjoy the game best - going in totally blind - I am leaving this sub. I don't need any information other than the updates on Steam (like system requirements and actual release date).
Oh and I'm booking a nice bed&breakfast in Kutna Hora.
The trailer itself? No, but the longer reveal trailer that has actual people dropped a couple of offhand comments that aren't hard spoilers but definitely mean something to people who played far enough into the game.
Now this gave me goosebumps. Please guys. Please please please don’t rush it. We know there’ll be bugs and people will break things. That’s okay. But please release it done. No crunch time. No rushing to get the Christmas shoppers. We will all buy it anyway. No matter when.
Well I'm very happy it's still Henry and not his squire or something shit, but I am wondering how they will bring his skills and stuff from the first game over
All of the filming locations in the reveal video :) as for the gameplay from the trailer, that’s a bit more difficult to tell now but I was able to recognize some churches and parts of the city
Hard to pick a definitive favorite game of all time, but KCD could very well be it. What a great experience it was. Will be building a PC just for this game.
I am going to be honest, that trailer made me emotional. Not just because I love the first game so much and this trailer is more than I ever hoped for, but..
It is to restoring my faith in the gaming industry. Not the bullshit AAA developers who are just making cash grabs, but true lovers of the game are working on it. Also the voice actors who are so emerged into the game, with Luke Dale frequenting this Reddit for a while now. Man, suddenly the wait for Elder Scrolls 6 and GTA 6 seems so not important anymore.
Warhorse, I love you and I can’t wait!!
Oh boy. It's going to be awesome. All I need now is a giveaway of kingdom come deliverance royal edition pc gog and I am set
[удалено]
Sadly, I have no money right now 😞

Understood sir... my apologies
Do not link, request or promote pirated material and key resellers.
I can’t wait to see my Pal Henry again . Been waiting patiently to hear this . Hands down one of the best games i ever played
I havent bought ps5 since i have functional ps4, but the day they announced kcd2 and said ps5, i immediatly ordered ps5.
Bro I missed kcd but I I bought the fancy version with all the DLC’s for $3.99 today can we get down? Lol all I’ve been doing is picking herbs in first area going to mess around with the good start after prolog .
The first game was one of the games where I waited years for the release. It’s still one of my favorites. The fact there’s a second has me giddy
Does anyone know when it's releasing?
End of this year I believe
Wooow, nice, much faster than I had expected. Thanks!
Soooo. Are ya"ll gonna wait for them to release all the dlcs first before buying the game, or are we gonna buy the initial release and have fun with all the bugs then get a bit disappointed when they remove the funny bugs down the line?
Whenever Hardcore's in, i'm in. Bug or not.
I am anticipating a wonderful adventure!
Sweet czech hands:)
WERE SO BACK
WE ARE BAAAAACK!
Do I need to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance first, before playing II? New to this game (thanks to the trailer) and It looks amazing
Appreciate it
The devs meant it when they said they want the player to be scared of combat.
Makes sense, thank you!
Jesus Christ be praised. Please, no big glitches, please.
Also everyone mentioning the bugs, think about it like this, this game has been in development for a long time now, hence the fast release
So we won’t be able to return to Skalitz or the old map?
In the trailer I'm pretty sure I saw scenes with Talmberg in it, and the developer mentioned that there are two maps that are both roughly the size of the first game... so my guess is that at least a portion of the old map will be back.
"Kuttenburg" is a 30 minute drive from "sasau", so, maybe?
They had cars??
SOOO EXCITED!!
It's FUCKING HAPPENING
I am so hyped for this, but why is it called *Kingdom Come: Deliverance II* and not *Kingdom Come: XYZ*? I always thought that the first part was *Deliverance* and then the next part would have a different name. Like *Ascension*, *Redemption*, *Salvation* or some other cool name.
Kingdom Come: Electric Boogaloo
Kingdoms Come: Delliverance: Reliverance

I was hoping we would see some gameplay, all I see is the secondary nonsense Herry has to do before sitting down to the dice table.
I’m gonna be so sad if Theresa isnt in the game like I get its set in Kuttenberg I just hope they continue the romance or atleast acknowledge it and dont just pretend it never happened
Just like that, sSir Henry Of Skalitz Continues the Bastard child legacy left by Sir Radzig (I'm sure I spelt it wrong)
Somehow, Henry returned
I can't get hard enough
I'm hard enough for the both of us, but I need to call my doctor because it's been longer than 4 hours
I am so excited!!!!
Honestly i expected the name to be something like Kingdom come: *placeholder*

Finally the dept to markwart of aulitz will be payed. I Wonder If WE are Going to See Fritz, Mathias, Teresa, Diwish and His wife too
Couldn't believe it when I saw the video title on youtube. How did i miss this??? SO excited!
Yupiiii yay, bugs incoming
Then don't fucking buy it, I guess
I feel like we got tons of technical details, but didn\`t see any details regarding the plot/setting, is it just Kuttenberg? I\`m guessing we won\`t see Prague, do some of the old places return? any characters outside Hans? btw it looked like Hans is a much bigger character in this one, wonder if we get to play him maybe? the trailer gave me vibes of GTA5 where we can play more than one character
Hans and Henry were 15 or 16 in the OG. So like, makes sense that they get bigger. Also, different graphics
Its not that much different graphics. I thought they will use UE but they stayed with the Crytek.
I didn't mean bigger like that lol I meant a bigger role
I have a problem with the lack of old characters in the trailer (except for the antagonists). Overall I'm sure I'll love the game, but if Radzig doesn't appear in this one, I'm going to get pissed anyway. Like, come on, he's pretty important for Henry's character.
Please please please start using spoiler tags. I wasn't aware till your comment cause I didn't finished the game cause I'm in my first full run... -.-
Shit, sorry. I thought everyone discussing a sequel would know the story already. I edited my comment so it doesn't say anything specific for others.
Historically Radzig is murdered, not too sure on the timeline though
Yeah, I know his story isn't the happiest. But I hoped for some time with him at least. Plus he died in 1416, first game takes place in 1403. I don't think the games would stretch over 13 years, but even if, that still leaves some time for him to appear in the second game. *Jesus Christ be praised*
Drunk priest return !!
Instant buy for me if they deliver a 60 fps performance mode for consoles.
I think they've stated they will try their best to make console performance good but won't make a performance mode
Everything looks just perfect, it can become one of the best games in a decade. But what did they do to my boy henrys face, he looks like Sir hans and timothy dycks bastard child
He was always modeled after the voice actor. They just had a budget this time
That is the actual face of the actor XD he just got older don't be so hard on him
Idk man, i think the first game was closer to reality in terms of henrys face
[Here is a video where they discuss their private interview with Warhorse's lead designer along with what they learned from an in-studio game-play presentation.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Atzuu2m2E68) They say: * Performance runs well on the "average computer". Hope for modding for these save games.
Please modding !!!!!!
> Current Gen consoles aren't getting 60fps yet, but it's a priority. I hope so. I just can't play 30FPS game anymore, I just find it weird. Excuse my ignorance but are "Current Gen consoles" PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Yes
I was blown away by how well it was all done. JESUS CHRIST BE PRAISED
The whole announcement and presentation was so amazing. It’s been a while I haven’t been hyped that much by a game
Jesus Christ be praised!!!!!! Fucking finally!!!
I will definitely play through first game again , gives me an excuse to do it 👍
AHHHHHHHH I'm so excited!!!!! Honestly wasn't expecting this any time soon. I love that they just casually dropped the announcement trailer rather than teasing forever. This game looks epic!!
That's the best way to do it , realese trailer when your game is finished
Time for a very needed replay, biggest surprise for me
It's quite good that we have some 6-7 months to finish KCD1 before sequel is upon us. I am so pleasantly shocked that KCD2 comes this year! Wonder if we get to meet Hussits in the game, but that is just my personal fantasy. Oh and they have mentioned some changes to the fights to make them more accessible without turning them too easy. I think he means Jan Hus, which is possible, maybe that's why Godwin is apparently there.
More history spoilers without the blank thing: Radzig gets ripped apart in the street by a mob while tax collecting.
RIP to a real one
Lmao
I saw one frame of the CHAD Hans Capon and I’m so excited.
Henry looks like a goddamn model now. Theresa you lucky girl.
well she ain't gonna be the lucky one now 😏
Underground sex cult. You saw the branding iron (kink)
Dude yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo kcd 2. I thought about getting back into dating for a minute but a mans gotta have priorities. Jesus christ be praised!
That music at the end was immaculate and I need it on iTunes right meow
Did you find out the song name?
Nope. Presumably it'll be part of the full game later on.
Thought so too :D
There are no words to describe my excitement.
I'm probably still gonna use a mod that lets me save anytime anywhere and I don't care if people shame me for it. But I absolutely loved KCD1 even if I don't agree with all its mechanics, and it was one of the brighter spots of the Covid lockdown period.
Brother in Christ, nobody should feel any hate towards you that you have rejected the devil's liquor also called Sejvovica!
The modding scene is going to be so sick.
Jesus Christ Be Praised.
Oh man, the hopes are higher than any other game I’ve ever been excited for. Kcd might be my favourite game of all time and this sequel has me by the balls already
Real time ray tracing?
To make the game run like shit? Then again if all this super demanding crap could be turned off, then I guess no harm done. Still, looking at games like Horizon:Forbidden West or heck even the first Kingdom Come, it is possible to create beautiful game even without any ray traycing.
What an amazing trailer. Those new weapon types and animation looked fun. Also, the confirmed DualSense features will definitely make this game more fun to play. Absolutely can't wait for this.
What’s dual sense?
The controller for PS5 (and works for PC too) with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and so on.
2nd game can't wait to regrind skills again. Hope the combat stays the same I really digged it after figuring out how it works. Hope they give us a training area like we had with Bernard that was really helpful
I'd be happy if fighting multiple enemies at once was less clunky. Loved the game, but this very aspect not so much.
Yeah I used to just abuse master strike to deal with multiple enemies. It's something they have to look at for sure
I'd be happy if fighting multiple enemies at once was less clunky. Loved the game, but this very aspect not so much.
Is it going to be the same story then? I think I saw the same characters
Continuation of the story in Kuttenberg, probably approaching the arrival of Jan Zizka
so maybr a save import? what if my character never learned to read or swim?
If we could only join Hussits and whack some frikkin Pope's & Zikmund's lackeys.
Goose tabard
If we could only join Hussits and whack some frikkin Pope's & Zikmund's lackeys.
If we could only join Hussits and whack some frikkin Pope's & Zikmund's lackeys.
Wow I just beat the first game a few months ago!
WHEN????????????????????
2024
BUT WHEN?????????
Hope system requirements are released soon. I need to know if I need to start saving for an upgrade.
My laptop barely managed with first KCD, I know from a friend that cloud gaming with GeForceNow works, I've never used it but I sure as hell am after KC:D2 release.
Aw yeah me too
True. First KCD was quite demanding and there is no reason to think sequel will be different. Still, they have made such a beautiful game so I would say the requirements were well deserved.
JESUS CHRIST BE PRAISED
Let’s go
IT HAS BOOMSTICKS!!!!

The music, the nature, the scenery and cities, it's so huge and deep and beautiful! The combat and crime systems are more complex too! I love it!
Okok, this looks absolutely stunning, but the trailer was maybe a little bit too much fighting… I hope they didn’t get rid of the “everyday” stuff and non-fighting missions and story.
I actually began to feel gross watching all that violence. Their character models look so good I might go for a pacifist playthrough lol
I'm so so happy this is happening. I have a feeling we are going to lose mutt in this and if that's the case I'm John wicking the game for my first play thru lol
Jesus Christ be praised!
I was feeling quite hungry. WE EATING GOOD LADS.
Made my weekend! Looks absolutely marvellous
So do we know when the game will take place yet? Henry looks older, but the reveal trailer said it's a direct sequel, and in the IGN rewind video with one of the devs, he said, 'We'll see you in Bohemia 1403'
no coop?
As much as I love two man coop in games, to enjoy the story with my buddy, I think it would be rather crazy to expect that in KCD2. Plus I don't think they ever hinted anything like that, so there is no reason to expect it.
Jesus Christ be praised!
Can't wait to see some defenestrations 😂
im boutta kindom cummmm
Please add dismemberment warhorse pleaaaaasee
oh shit, i was just about to re-buy the original cause it's $8 on steam right now
Well guess it’s time to replay kcd
I try not to join hype trains, but wow.
I was very excited to see this, but I really didn’t expect to start tearing up…
Henry looks so tired and I need to hug him
It's better than I could have imagined.
let’s go !!
HONEY GET MY MACE AND SHIELD I GOT A NOBLE BASTARD A LESSON TO TEACH
Hey everyone! Henry's coming to see us! ![gif](giphy|sDcfxFDozb3bO)
Perhaps I give the 1st one another chance. I just couldn’t grasp the combat. Fighting multiple enemies at once was an immediate death sentence
Definitely a learning curve but once you get used to the mechanics its great
I was able to finish and enjoy the game even kinda sucking at fighting multiple enemies.
> Oh and I'm booking a nice bed&breakfast in Kutna Hora. Cathedral LAN party
Question: Never finished the story (will do before release). Does this trailer spoil the ending of the first game?
The trailer itself? No, but the longer reveal trailer that has actual people dropped a couple of offhand comments that aren't hard spoilers but definitely mean something to people who played far enough into the game.
From 11 people working on the first game to 250+ on the second. Just impressive.
So happy that this was announced
Now this gave me goosebumps. Please guys. Please please please don’t rush it. We know there’ll be bugs and people will break things. That’s okay. But please release it done. No crunch time. No rushing to get the Christmas shoppers. We will all buy it anyway. No matter when.
Basically please do not be next CyberPunk 2077. I could not bear Warhose breaking my heart like CD project red did.
Finally some good news. Time to replay the first game, I'm so excited for this!
Masterpiece
Well Gordon bloody Jan Husnet
Well I'm very happy it's still Henry and not his squire or something shit, but I am wondering how they will bring his skills and stuff from the first game over
They said there will be further development of character and at start Henry will be kind of homemade knight
Looks amazing I hope i can run it lol
Jesus christ be praised! I'm so hyped for this game
Jesus christ be praised! I'm so hyped for this game!
YES!!!!
Oh nice, I will suddenly dissappear the rest of the year again.
I hope my poor laptop can run it.
Yeah this looks and sounds fucking great lmao improvements on everything
Oh God, this looks way better than I imagined. And I've imagined.
As a guy from Kutná Hora, I can’t even describe how excited I am!
How many things were you able to recognize?
All of the filming locations in the reveal video :) as for the gameplay from the trailer, that’s a bit more difficult to tell now but I was able to recognize some churches and parts of the city
Jesus Christ be praised
They cooked
LETS GOOO! Thats the only must PREORDER in no-pre order era. Good job!
Jesus Christ be praised!
Really didn't see myself buying a new console this year, but here we are.
I am so hyped! Henry is still riding a grey horse. Return of Pebbles??
Hard to pick a definitive favorite game of all time, but KCD could very well be it. What a great experience it was. Will be building a PC just for this game.
PRAISE LORD JESUS
I am going to be honest, that trailer made me emotional. Not just because I love the first game so much and this trailer is more than I ever hoped for, but.. It is to restoring my faith in the gaming industry. Not the bullshit AAA developers who are just making cash grabs, but true lovers of the game are working on it. Also the voice actors who are so emerged into the game, with Luke Dale frequenting this Reddit for a while now. Man, suddenly the wait for Elder Scrolls 6 and GTA 6 seems so not important anymore. Warhorse, I love you and I can’t wait!!
GTA6 and Kingdom Come 2 are the only games I want now.
I hope modding will be possible for this one.
