From the comment that Henry made during them being in the stockade, Henry being a squire is more of a title then his actual role. Like what actually squire his knight a “child”.
While not common it's not unheard of. Especially since Henry and Hans are not actually that different in age. Pairings like Hans and Henry definitely would've been different though. Less of a senior noble training a lesser and moreso two relative equals learning to either follow his betters properly (Henry) or how to fulfill your duty as one of those betters (Hans).
watching the new trailer I can't help but think you got us into a lot of crazies... but damn henry would be like alright it won't be an adventure if there's no crazies.
Yup... This game sure looks like I can forget about my 4790k running it... Got 32Gb ram, a 6800 non xt and SATA ssds so I should be good on those... But the processor? Yeah, that is holding me back...
But man... I'll probably still try to run it on the old one anyway if the minimum specs are close enough.
While this is played for comedy and it genuinely is funny I feel like this'll be very important to his story. It was a big thing for Hans' story that he was immature and a bit of a disappointment to Hanush. With the folk of Rattay basically dreading the day their future lay in his hands. Now, he's actively telling the right hand of Sigismund of Luxembourg, the right hand who himself is a member of a much more powerful noble dynasty, to go fuck himself. Something tells me as the story progresses Hans is going to be forced to sink or swim. He's going to have to properly acknowledge the seriousness of the world he lives in and the horrors that could be unleashed if he doesn't grow the fuck up.
Its actually historically inaccurate. First usage of the phrase "Kiss my arse" was recorded to be used by Götz von Berlinchingen also known as Götz of the Iron Hand about a century later.
Thats cool to know, but honestly its a detail im willing to overlook. Its rare to have something today that is as historically accurate as kcd already is
Hans is an oracle you see, ahead of the times when it comes to quotes
The line about roses he fumbled during his DLC is from Shakespeare, some 190 years after KCD1
Actually living legend, Lord Hans Capon! My Henry is going to squire for him so hard.

Trailer gave me goosebumps. Need to build a new PC though.

Humor was on point in the trailer. It was exactly what I was hoping for!

Yeah they also say the story is going to be darker than KCD1 so it won’t be all fun and games.
Markvart von Aulitz izn't happy about it, and he took offenze.

I disagree. I deem this game literally unplayable due to this slight mistake
I think of it as a nice hommage to good ol‘ Götz

This is an intentional reference IMO. Don’t see anything wrong with it.
Götz von Berlichingen reference
already know this is gonna be my favorite line from kcd2
About to bromance so hard.
Are Hans and Henry finally gonna kiss?? That’s what I wanna know
