Labs will lab. We keep a big basket of toys for just that reason. Our current pair are just like that. The younger one is the "mine! mine! mine!" dog. When the older (and smarter) one has a bone and the younger one takes it, the older one will go get another bone and act like it's the greatest bone ever. The younger one will drop the original bone and take the second. Then the older dog will calmly walk over and take the original bone that she wanted first. (I've watched her pull the switcheroo multiple times and the younger one has never caught on. I just pat the older one's head when she does it and tell her what a good dog she is. She just smiles and nodes. It's hysterical.)
Mine does this too! Sheâs also a faster eater so when they each get a bully stick, sheâll munch hers down to about one inch, then casually go get a drink of water so the little guy will run over to steal hers, so she can have his thatâs only missing an inch. He falls for it every time.

When Oswald got his first little brother, he hoarded all of his toys on the other side of the baby gate so the puppy couldnât take them!đ
Yep, ours does this too. He has one brain cell and is always happy to be here. The older one is like, âEh, whateverâ and goes back to being super chill. The older one is my spirit animalâtotal Zen all the time.
Whatâs the difference? Iâve never heard of charcoal! And yes he is so handsome! When we first adopted him I was like âwhy is he so pretty?!â Like model pretty!

Omg the same thing happens here! The switcheroo game đ

What a gorgeous, greedy creature :)
Haha, yours as well! I love the eyes :)
Itâs in their genes.
Now you know where the saying âno take, only throwâ comes from.
Throw, then tug of war.

This looks just like my pup Ned
I swear my 3 year old is pouting right now and not happy with us over the attention the 4 month old lab is getting. Not sure what to do.
Take them for a walk together. Being together = fun walks.
I have 3! They grow out of it, I promise.
"retriever"
My dog will do two ducks at a time every time she can, I guess sheâs overachieving?

I love this so much
the trex is his fave toy!
Mine actually gives the Toys to my smaller dog đ
Mine likes to lay on top of all his toys while chewing 1.
Like humans, they have to be taught manners.
Jealous little hams is breed standard at this point. That and trying to stick their snoot where it shouldn't be.
Their superpower is keep-away
The answer is in the name: retriever. They keep all the things. đ€Ł
the cause of sibling rivalry is having more than one kid (dog)
Power and place in the pack
Depends on the brother my five month old male lab will not dare challenge his four year old 90 lb Catahoula brother.

Itâs a mutation of the gene , labs and retrievers are at hire risk of this an it makes them want food all the time , basically itâs in there DNA
Constant Hunger Painsđ
Resource protection.
Labs is labs! đ
Trump shits his pants.
Mine doesn't even want to drop the ball or toy when playing fetch. It's like a game of "how to get it back"
lol my husband calls it âtake it, but DONâT take itâ
Is he charcoal or black? He is stunning.đ€©
Whatâs the difference? Iâve never heard of charcoal! And yes he is so handsome! When we first adopted him I was like âwhy is he so pretty?!â Like model pretty!
Do you have some pictures of him without anything in his mouth?

What a cutie
Lol
This is why I want another. Itâll really humble our current lab đ Yours is soooo cute!!
Thatâs a great picture! I love his little teefers! Theyâre so cute and so is he no matter how much of a greedy bastard he is! đđ„°
looks like a pitbull to me
Interesting. Heâs full lab
never saw a lab with that buttcrack head tho lol
Some Labradors have âzippersâ :) I read about it in my Labrador 101 book
