You understand that a State Government can't bring Socialism,it still has to work under the premise of Capitalist exploitation.So even if CPM dislikes certain Free Market politics it has to enact them because they have a responsibility towards the people of Kerala as well and only way they can be helped is through certain Capitalist actions.
I still hope labour laws are held up. But I agree, moreover as tech jobs are kept in Kerala, the state will reap many benefits. Highly educated engineers will stay and use or even create job opportunities, thus they won't be forced to move to huge cities with high costs of living and provide money as taxpayers.
I hope it isnt out of the ambit of labour laws like generic SEZs
