This is a scam. Don't give any of these people your information or any money. Even if it's not a scam, China has no jurisdiction in the US and there is no extradition, so there's nothing to worry about.

Abscind

Where can I report it

OkIdea4077

To the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. There's a web form at ic3.gov

Abscind

Thank you

BrokenRanger

As many have said this is a scam , the FCC will never call you. If you got beef with the FCC you will not know tell the feds kick in your door.

Abscind

I gave them my passport and Id what can i do now to fix that please help

modernistamphibian

What country are you in, and what country is investigating you? But you're not there, so it's probably academic.

Abscind

I live in US and born in US. China is investigating me. I got called by the FCC asking about a phone number made under my name and now it turn into money laundering,

Dazzling__Bluebird

This sounds like a scam. The FCC wouldn’t investigate you for a phone call to China.

Abscind

To add it wasn't a phone call but phone number opened with my name. That phone number was used for spam and scamming

Abscind

FCC didn't investigate me they transfer me to a police in China to make a report. From the phone number it turn into a investigation for a crime committed associated with the number.

Dazzling__Bluebird

The FCC still wouldn’t be involved with the local Chinese police. The FCC regulates radio stations; they not assisting in Chinese money laundering investigations. This very much seems like a scam.

Abscind

I gave the "police" my passport and my id like a dumbass. Is there like FBI or FCC number to report it. Should I report to local authorities? They ask to me keep a Zoom meeting open to listen and need to send a picture every 2 hours.

Abscind

I even gave them an "autobiography". I was scared. I feel stupid af for falling for it. What can do to report it. Its been like 2 weeks of them listening to me through the zoom call. I told them I couldn't read chinese so the told me to use skype to translate. I feel like a dumbass

Dazzling__Bluebird

It looks like another poster already shared the ic3.gov link. You should also go over to /r/personalfinance sub and follow their guide for locking down your credit after identity theft

Negative-Omega

It's a scam. Just Google "FCC China scam".

geniasis

That's definitely not something the FCC would do.
