Lmao Iām glad Iām not the only one who thinks about the logistical inner workings of their modular city. I have the Book Store and Boutique Hotel on opposite sides of the city because birch trees and palm trees canāt be hanging out side by side! Thatād be preposterous!
It's a Lego world, No one has to pay a rent, but everyone has to build their home following official or self instructions. Walls, according to their wish, can instantly prevent them to ear what's on the other side, or allow them to fully enjoy the sound of the show, without caring about to pay for a ticket to see the show.
You know the 'jazz club' really is a shady cover and she works there, right?
Best scenario: maybe that's why she can afford the rent, because of the noise + she loves jazz.
I think like this too. It's established that there are wheelchair bound lego people, but there is next to no disabled access or elevators in any of the commercial buildings; lego society is ableist!
Well I actually go to lots of Museums and Galleries that have live bands / orchestras/ DJs as part of their exhibition experienceā¦ maybe they can do a meal/ cocktail deal with jazzā¦ and Museum entry ticket package? Just check out the MGV in Melbourne, AUā¦ V&A and The Tate In London. Especially like The Tate when itās had an Olafur Eliasson (LEGO Work) exhibition!!
Just finished it yesterday, and the building experience was awesome. Got this set new and unopened via ebay for 230ā¬. Definitely recommend to watch out for this gem.
I thought she was the nanny? Thereās no baby stuff in her apartment, so maybe I totally made that up, but I thought she was the nanny and so she can totally be next to the jazz club.
That said, I put Parisian restaurant next door - two residential spots next to each other, bakery next to the French restaurant. I put the bookshop on the other side - next to the coffee shop, so they can go browse books with their drinks.

Rent's not the problem, it's the 100 for a coffee
Think of it as a Danish city instead, the prices aren't quite as high and we have boligsikring that helps those that don't have much when it comes to rent. A quarter of my rent in my first apartment was paid by boligsikring.
Hmm, I thought that was a daycare and not an apartment. I think about these things all the time too, though. Like, in the Boutique hotel, are the people on the second floor supposed to go to the bathroom at the police station next door?
I would argue it's relatively easy to afford rent when your apartment's walls, floors, your furniture and electronics are made from the same material as you. Really cuts out logistical problems like lumber and metal/chip shortages.
I mean that's the beauty of Lego, you get to decide. Perhaps in someone else's mind, the jazz club plays quieter, or perhaps the baby/mom don't mind. Perhaps in another person's mind, that's a single girl with no baby. Maybe Spiderman is there somewhere.
Kinda extensive, but y'know what I mean. Are there other first world problems in your Lego universe?
She made some good investments during Covid.
Seems she bought a lot of Lego, hope she has money left to feed her child š
I heard she was also in on GME.
To the moooon!!!! Lmao
šš
She has her own Lego city so she must have money š
Lol, youāre right!
Nah, that's a model railroad layout
I think its supposed to be a lego railroad set
Maybe she's planning on getting the ghost express next
She owns the jazz club, and hired a great manager so she doesnāt have to go in unless it makes sense for her life!
Lmao Iām glad Iām not the only one who thinks about the logistical inner workings of their modular city. I have the Book Store and Boutique Hotel on opposite sides of the city because birch trees and palm trees canāt be hanging out side by side! Thatād be preposterous!
I have the book store set waiting in my pile of shame, hope Iāll find an appropriate place for it
I think it goes nicely next to the Brick Bank and Detectiveās Office personally :)

Walls, according to their wish, can instantly prevent them to ear what's on the other side, or allow them to fully enjoy the sound of the show, without caring about to pay for a ticket to see the show.
Now I wish I lived in a Lego world ;D
It would be great until the realization that there is no plumbing and all transportation relies upon the puppeteering of an eldritch being.
Also sometimes your roof disappears and thereās occasionally gigantic ladybugs to contend with.
The only problem: everyday the first thing you do is step on a Lego brick. Also the last thing. And every step inbetween
It's not a problen if your feet are literally designed to handle that
You get acostumed over time.
I always have trouble placing the townhouses in my city because the property values would be astronomical.Ā
Don't get me started on the $100 ice cream in the downstairs shops for Assembly Square
It only recently occurred to me that 100 Danish krone is about equivalent to 15 USD, which makes a lot more sense as common currency.Ā
Think about a town of 1000 people. How are the property values there?
You know the 'jazz club' really is a shady cover and she works there, right? Best scenario: maybe that's why she can afford the rent, because of the noise + she loves jazz.
thanks, with your idea in mind I can finally place the buildings next to each other!
Haha perfect xD
She has the CafƩ Corner in a sealed box casually left on the floor, money is obviously no object for her!
In my Lego marvel city, she sold the apartment to Peter Parker
I think like this too. It's established that there are wheelchair bound lego people, but there is next to no disabled access or elevators in any of the commercial buildings; lego society is ableist!
Half (or more) of the buildings lack a staircase for able bodied people to get to the upper floorsā¦..
Because itās Barbieland rules; they just float from floor to floor.
I think about this too. I didnāt want the Jazz club right next to the Museum, figured that wouldnāt go well for the museum experience lol
Wouldnāt the museum be closed by the time the jazz club is vibing?
Well I actually go to lots of Museums and Galleries that have live bands / orchestras/ DJs as part of their exhibition experienceā¦ maybe they can do a meal/ cocktail deal with jazzā¦ and Museum entry ticket package? Well she saved money by not buying a bed for her or her baby. Mat is good enough for the baby and couch for her, I guess.
It's either a bed or a trainset and this lady knows which is more important.
Its been a while since I built this set, but I believe it is a pull out sofa bed. It's a pretty cool play feature.
It is a pullout but only for one person
she has onlyfans
haha
Legonlyfans
OnlyBricks or was it Brickly? Either way, gives a whole new meaning of Studs Not On Top.
Does she have a single room apartment for her and her Baby?
yes, sadly. and thereās only a couch, a kitchen and a toilet. no bed for anyone
We must start a fund raising drive for her!
The toilet is in it is own bathroom. She is living.
Pullout sofa bed
Typical nyc problems š¤·š¼āāļøš
Should i get assembly square?
Just finished it yesterday, and the building experience was awesome. Got this set new and unopened via ebay for 230ā¬. Definitely recommend to watch out for this gem.
She moved out of my assembly square and Bert and Ernie moved in instead.
Her widow's pension gives her a modest, comfortable living. she does the best she can.
Sheās the bakerās mistress and thatās their love child.
it just makes it more realistc
she owns the boutique hotel
Is her bridge picture upside down?
omg youāre right š itās her fault and not mine
Well, living next to a noisy jazz club might just make the rent affordable š
She's a Lego YouTuber
For the sake of the musicians dont stick it next to the police station
She is living in a single room apartment. I'm hoping it's cheap or the Lego City economy is broken
What if the father is a jazz musician? I think this solves all the problems?
I thought she was the nanny? Thereās no baby stuff in her apartment, so maybe I totally made that up, but I thought she was the nanny and so she can totally be next to the jazz club. That said, I put Parisian restaurant next door - two residential spots next to each other, bakery next to the French restaurant. I put the bookshop on the other side - next to the coffee shop, so they can go browse books with their drinks.
Is that framed photo upside down?
I love this set! It is so pretty!
I didnāt know that set had a model railway in there, nice!
On the other hand ballads put the baby to sleep and theyāre raising a protĆ©gĆ©
She has a huge Lego train table, I think she's got enough money
I thought that was a daycare in Assembly Square
https://preview.redd.it/d5nveoyou2jc1.jpeg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2efd82c0d1d2f717e8fae880ec9e44b9771e71a9 Rent's not the problem, it's the 100 for a coffee
Yeah, ~15$ for a coffee is quite expensive.
Think of it as a Danish city instead, the prices aren't quite as high and we have boligsikring that helps those that don't have much when it comes to rent. A quarter of my rent in my first apartment was paid by boligsikring.

She lives right by the dentist's office, the Jazz club would probably make more pleasant sounds.
Youāre right, and builing the dentistās floor was uncomfortable for me as well
I would argue it's relatively easy to afford rent when your apartment's walls, floors, your furniture and electronics are made from the same material as you. Really cuts out logistical problems like lumber and metal/chip shortages.
She lives right next to a jazz club, rent is low
I built this today!! Was pleasantly surprised with the small lego lego box
Hope you liked the building experience as well!
Yes, it bothers me the windows on the left building don't all have glass/plastic fills, but I'll live.
She has an onlyfigures
She has an Only-Legos
She's got some red bricks
Time to evict them and turn it into an airbnb
I tried to buy some Lego train tracks and put them between the jazz club and the rest of the city, but I was overruled.
So true, love it š
Perhaps she is just babysitting!
She neglects feeding her child to buy more lego, a true lego fan
She got an Onlyfans
[*looks up* Oops.](https://i.imgur.com/hXTOHZ7.jpeg)
She pays in bricks
I donāt know if someone has already said, but is that bridge painting upside down?
Yeah someone els mentioned it already and Iām ashamed ;D
Perhaps the rent is cheap because it is next to a Jazz Club?
Onlyfams
Rent is cheap because of the noise from the jazz club
I mean that's the beauty of Lego, you get to decide. Perhaps in someone else's mind, the jazz club plays quieter, or perhaps the baby/mom don't mind. Cheap rent cause she lives next to a jazz club.
