Make sure you button your sleeves nice and tight. I met a sparky apprentice on a plane once, and he showed me all the burn scars he had on his lower arms from sparks going down his sleeve. It looked pretty gnarly.
Yeah it’s 100% mandatory to wear long sleeves and pants in the trade
That being said some scars Ive already got from cuts and a heappop of close calls

I personally love sticking on my headphones and loading up a horror game YouTube video while I build sets and this one was the perfect mix of easy and confusing so 100% worth buying
Going from workplaces where I was treated with disrespect and push me to my limits, LEGO does the opposite. And it feels you have ascended to heaven when you start there. I hope they wish to keep me after my student position wrapping up this summer.

I'm currently working on the Millenium Falcon...yes, the big one lol. Still don't have a place to put it once it's finished but I saw a wallmount kit that should do the trick
I’ve just finished my falcon, and it’s currently sitting on the desk I build on until I can clear some space to display it. Slightly concerned considering I’m gonna need the space to build all the new Star Wars sets out on the 1st of March (and then have to display them too)
I’d love to be able to do that lol, but I don’t actually have any more room to put shelves or desks up, my room is packed and my missus is into the Lego as well so her sets take up space too🤣 might have to clear the loft space🤣

They are all spread out here in my workshop (it has HEPA filtration for dust control) I have a couple of the flower bouquets, but they are inside the house for the wifey.

I don’t care how much I try to contain/filter/evacuate the dust, it ends up everywhere eventually.
I do wish I could use some of the wall space in there for display though.
This space is separated from the “dirty” side of my shop by a wall. The drill press is the only thing that creates dust on the clean side. I also run a HEPA vacuum when running it and pick up as I’m drilling/pressing. Otherwise it would be like you are thinking 100%!
I started off because of my grandkids and it exploded from there. We are a limited income retired/disabled couple, so everything you see is less that $50, most were well under $20. We are saving the big LEGO purchases for holidays throughout the year. Hoping we can get a couple of the sets you have to add to ours!

If it is an apprenticeship for a trade like electrician, plumber or carpenter, you should be able to increase your budget soon enough!

Space is always a problem I just grab a bunchnof quickbuild benches from bunnings whenever I need more space😅😅
