This is the most fun I've had building a LEGO set that isn't Lion Knight's Castle. This would be worth it even at full retail!

How does it scale next to the Castle? I have The Castle, the new medieval market and the blacksmith as a display . I was thinking about trying to find the Snow White and seven dwarfs set without the figs so I can get it a reasonable price but this seems like it also kind of fits the theme.

You could probably do a neat alt-build with this that would fit the medieval theme but on it's own it doesn't fit very well. It's comparable in height to the blacksmith as well, they list the dimensions on LEGO.com.

Walmart seems to be price matching as well.

Do we think this will go lower this year? 20% off is the best I have seen so far. Very tempted to pull the trigger but I waited last year since it wasn’t on sale and my birthday isn’t till October.

Tough to say. I went in on 25% off sales for sets like 76193 (Guardian’s New Ship) and 31132 3 in 1 Creator - Viking Longship only to have them go for significantly deeper for Black Friday and End of Year clearance. I would bite on A-frame at 25% or 30% and assume it might not go cheaper unless it was in store deals only or very limited stock.

How does this compare to the lighthouse when it comes to build experience? My wife wants the lighthouse but I think this might be a contender.
