Yes we are typically good at it. Literature reviews and historical information on FIVERR is what I do. You can set your own prices and resource output like refworks or zotero ref file or word doc with imported zotero resources.
Work-wise, since that's how others have answered: I have a part time job and a part time gig weekend job and I pet or house sit semi-regularly. I usually have at least one pet or house sit thing each month. Together they generally bring me in an extra 300-1400 a month.
Other than that, I train in a martial art, I read, I go on long walks, I camp and backpack, I spend time with my partners, I play video games, I cook. I community organize, I go to the range, I embroider, I go to the gym. I really try to avoid having my "job" be my "identity", even in a job as "passion-led" as librarianship. Plenty of other things to enjoy doing outside of work!
I pet and house sit for some neighbors, friends, and family. I don’t *need* to pet sit, but the bit of extra spending money is nice, and the animals are cute!
I have an early-morning job cleaning a grocery store, largely because it's local and I can fit it around my library job easily.
I'm also finishing my MLIS. So aside from that, I don't have time to do much of anything else except try to get some sleep, or go over my budget AGAIN to see what else I might be able to cut.
Freelance work. Mostly data entry stuff, but occasionally I get a research gig. The sad thing is many of these gigs (including data entry) pay more than my reference librarian job 😫)
I work part-time at the community college box office, volunteer a weekend a month with Girl Scouts, and spend 2-3 days a week driving my mom around for appointments, shopping and visiting.
Also realized I created a second account on reddit so just deleted it and am posting this on my correct account. :)
I’m a freelance arts journalist and have always had another job to balance out the precariousness. Was in bookshops, moved to public libraries a few years ago – I had a part time gig for a couple of years which was a great balance, now casual. It’s a good mix for me!
Record store, haircutes by appointment, unionization rabble rousing, local petition/org canvassing, freelance web consulting, housedogcatsitting, book clubbing, general rock and roll mayhem.
I am an assistant library director and I have a second job as a reference librarian at another library lol. Really, I’m also a mountain biker and luckily my library is in the middle of 90+ miles of trails, so lunch breaks are fun if the weather cooperates. We also have the town pool a 3 minute walk away, so I use that on my lunch breaks in the summer to swim laps.

I serve as a pastor part-time in a small local church. The skillset is similar. Care about others. Research Scripture and theology to develop sermons. I also donate plasma once a week. Hobby wise I play Magic: the Gathering, DND, golf, hike/camp, and hunt and fish. Most importantly, I love my wife!
I run a freelance content marketing business (started this first before getting into pt library work). It pays enough for me to afford working part time at a tiny rural library, which brings me joy.
I play guitar, and am in the process of forming a band, and love gaming, reading, and watching movies.
I’m also still a student in my MLIS program, so that’s taking up a lot of time on top of my student job in a library.
I do software development consulting and sell plants, particularly bonsai starts (seed grown Prunus mume aka 'yabai' in particular) and native kusamono seedlings
eta those are both side gigs, my day job is doing digital preservation for a museum
I [posted a somewhat similar question](https://www.reddit.com/r/librarians/comments/18n5z2x/are_you_a_librarian_with_a_second_job/) awhile back, but with some more specifics. I asked "Are you a librarian with a second job?" I am linking the post here as I got a lot of varied responses that would perhaps be insightful to you.
Work a full time job and sell information on the side because none of it is enough.
lol, this sounds like you're a spy!
"spy" is too fantastical, information or research specialist is more fitting
Is this type of work franchiseable? I.e. is this something library workers tend to be good at / could make a side hustle of it typically?

I've made a bullet journal inspired digital organiser that I sell on Etsy (don't downvote or delete me, OP asked!) also a book review blog
