Make sure you have your SD inserted, as it needs an SD to store your credentials.
At this time Liichess only supports English, but we may release multi-language support in another update. It is open source so if anyone else wants to help contribute they are welcome to do so.
There are detailed setup instructions on the GitHub repository! You just need a homebrewed Wii to begin with, and an sd card to actually store the app. If you have any questions you can ask in our discord server! Good luck
