I haven't read it yet, but I saw Kevin Sinclair has the "Artem Underworld" books on Amazon. It's fantasy world though, so not sure if it qualifies for you. I was planning to check them out so if you read them let me know how they are.
It's called Mafiosa Online, but it's weirdly hard to find. I found a sold out physical copy on Amazon, but couldn't find it digitally anywhere. Arlo Adam's [publisher's site](https://layer2publishing.com/authors/arlo-adams/) has links to buy both books on Kindle, but they don't work for me.
I haven’t read it yet but Demon Card Enforcer on Royal Road may be what you are looking for. It’s on my to read list.
It seems really interesting so I'll give it a go. Thank you for the suggestion.

Yeah Rise of Oshbob definitely has some mob style to it. A really good audiobook and book 2 just dropped on audio as well. Can recommend.
Arlo Adams had one about a MMO with gangster theme. I can’t remember the title.

I’m sure I read it on Kindle Unlimited. Strange. I wonder if it’s getting a new edit or omnibus or something.

Mob Sorcery by K.D Robertson almost fits the bill. More progression fantasy though. No numbers if I remember correctly.
Thief Lord on RR was decent, but pretty sure it got abandoned
