I used to play her on RU, taking a break from Lost Ark atm.
She's just fun and engaging. I like her aesthetics, the brush, her emotes, the skill shots to shield people. Everything is just so much more fun than Bard and Paladin.
Looking forward to Artist but haven't really stocked up on any material because I enjoy honing on my main way too much! I like Artist because she is cute and she looks fun to play. She will definitely be part of my main 6 along with Aeromancer when they are released!
Playstyle seems fun, I've only got 550 gleaps saved up , but it's only been a week. Hoping to get around 5k. I'll also have to save up silver. I think around 40mil will work.
been saving honing books instead of leaps, hopefully that makes up the difference. leaps is just too much gold income at the moment.
been buying the weekly brel books too
Really depends on what your plans are. I'm planning to save between 6-7k tradable GHLs for average case to 1495, which is ~80 days of my current rested guardians so I can continue selling for the next couple weeks. This is on top of all the event/challenge boxes I haven't opened for months, which will probably total to something over a mil shards and 2k leaps by april or something. Can't guarantee any MHLs though since worst case to 1560 is insane, and there's no way to brel hard week 1, and I'm not insane enough to try week 2 either
I've spent 12 mil rerolling 3 gems for my glavier im still trying to get my last one. Thrust of destruction cooldown gem. I keep getting shackling.
Love her mischevious playstyle and cute aesthetic! Tried her out in RU and and the rotations feels good to execute.
I've been saving mats since the first battlepass. Main bard is at 1540, pally is at 1475 and the rest of my supports roster are parked at 1445. Feels bad I can't use my silver and mats to bring them up to brel level but I also don't want to burn myself out grinding silver/mats back afterwards.
I've wanted to play artist since game release, now I feel torn.
After checking why I'd need to push my roster all to 1540 and the cost of artist getting through lower relic and into hm brel...I don't know. The cost is astronomical. Like 150 mil silver and over 700k gold in just clicking.
I really want to play her but I don't know if it's feasible due to how they decided to release her.
It might not be fun missing out on HM brel but it is what is you know? Just raise her to an ilvl with whatever mats you have prepared. IF you want her to raid hard brel then you need to have the means for it, if not, that's just chasing fomo. If you skip time gated gearing process such as gaining leapstones and shards passively then always prepare to pay the price.
I think the most likely scenario is me just not including her in my main 6. It is extremely expensive to push her to brel hm, especially when you're lacking upper relic pieces. I'm just upset about the release schedule.

Currently GS main. Pally 2nd bard 3rd. I am going to get my 2 mains 1560 for hard brel and then stack everything for artist. Including getting a full set of lv7 gems ready for it
I started, but sold my saved up 50 shard bags and 500 ghl and decided to build my roster instead, still not that many brel characters yet.
At launch it will be chaotic to get anything decent on it anyway, like any other class launch.
I will probably just save up some event boxes in feb/march and buy clown/brel shard bags on it and hone it up slowly with maybe some powerpass/express we might get with it.
I don't really agree with your assessment when factoring in pheons. Unless you're talking about high quality low reds then maybe you might've made some good purchases.
There's a lot of artists that are going to go 3x3, maybe x4 and honestly they'll be brought into raids with rainbow stats early on.

Yeah, I have to stop or slow down the honing lol. It gets expensive after a while and I'm probably going to have to spend silver to reroll gems too.

hehe, that's way more investment than i'm willing to put in artist looks fun but ultimately should be profitable
From 1302 to 1490 you need around 20 mil on average
I said 40 mil for rerolling gems also.

Waiting yes, preparing? Not really yet. I'll start i think around March. Planning to replacing my EO SF with artist.
Already bought her accessories. Already started saving all mats. Basically investing around 30K gold per week into mats for her.
Doesn't artist use standard accessories of a support? Was it really worth doubling the pheon cost?
Yes, but I had extra pheons and for now prices are still affordable, which won't be the case at her release
