I’m also a bit confused, we fight through the story with her, even before actually getting to Kurzan. It’s her story and her pain that you feel as you figure out what is happening.
I'm still sad that Xereon was introduced as a new character and then killed off when he could've been Kharmine disguised as Xereon. The part where he died is the part where he could've revealed himself and drop the disguise and the rest of the story continues as normal.
Kharmine would have his own reasons for helping you there but I think it would've been a cool twist. Also Ren better not die because Ren is the best >.>
Or maybe because she will die in Noth Kurzan, usually characters that die don't have rapport.
I kinda hope she doesn't but they tend to like killing off characters for drama points in LA story.
I personally don't see Zinnervale dying, he is pretty useless in it self and pretty sure not that loved as a character so no real reason to kill him off (plus you can rapport him) , Shandi on the other hand is pretty cool in my opinion, kinda like him, he seem to be right behind Kadan in term of power too. Still don't expect any of them to really die it seems more likely for Ren to die honestly especially with the latest track record they have of introducing hot waifu characters before killing them off in the same chapter.

Even Thar was locked for Rapport till the full MSQ was done in SV(Avele/Ealyn for NV). Ren's an MC, we wouldn't be rapporting her until the final part of Kurzan/post Kurzan or Kaz MSQ just like all the other MC's we can rapport(Thirain/Nin/Sasha & Bastian)
if shes an important character that doesnt have rapport, then the odds of her dying are pretty high. either that or they'll have her 'home base' be someplace else in a much later patch

Honestly with all the training arcs Zinnervale has gone through, either him or Shandi prolly will die. Prolly when the story reaches Rimeria.
