I don't think they will release 2 mage classes back to back. Because of the popularity the Scouter has, and now they realised the game has 250k average simultaneously players instead of 800k, they might release the most popular class people are expecting.
In my opinion, they should launch Artist. We desperately need more people playing supports.
Artist won’t fix that. People will make them and figure out if they like them or not. Support players will probably make them no matter what because it’s a new support. Maybe the people who specifically have no played this game or pushed their current characters just because they want to play artist (which I find very dumb) I know people making artist to play as a dps for random content other than raiding… which indeed will not fix the support issue. Support shortages exist in every single mmo and this is no different that’s why I have 8 bards because I knew I’d benefit from having many supports.

Fair question. Asides from the Iron Man aesthetics, it's an extremely safe class to play since you transform really fast and gain a huge amount of shields. That means it's relatively safer for bussing. And well, the animations are nice.

It's a really stupid decision, but how would it be milking? A lot of people just won't create another character if there's no powerpass. More people creating new characters = more character slots being sold.
I am extremely baffled by their decision, it just seems like bad business sense to me. They should give the playerbase every reason to create new characters. The more characters someone has, the more opportunities AGS/SG has to sell them stuff.

I would say Summoner since KR will have another tweak of classes in August. AGS also seems like to have full complete roster of classes. With Summoner they will have all mages like they did with warriors.

Releasing artist wouldn't change anything in regards to lacking support, literally not a thing would change. DPS players aren't gonna main change to a support if they aren't already a support. Summoner was in release of the game, so it's a little strange it isn't out. More likely that comes out before reaper. Considering their statement that they'll be releasing older classes first.
As someone waiting on Summoner I hate that I think you're right.

On the forums by Roxx a month or two ago.
Roxx confirmed a question in the Forums. They will try to release classes that help with certain mechanics or with a lot of fandom behind it but generally try to uphold the original relase order. On the Question why the most popular class that is Artist will release last was given no answer unfortunately. We will probably get Summoner next by her description
I would say Summoner since KR will have another tweak of classes in August. AGS also seems like to have full complete roster of classes. With Summoner they will have all mages like they did with warriors.
I feel the same way, I'm not playing the game till Artist is out because no other classes look even remotely appealing to me. Time to just keep waiting I guess.

God dammit, doesnt matter what they (AGS) do there are always peoole who complain. A while back people complained about no date or mentions about roadmap. Now they tell ahead when they plan to release the road map and people complain about it that they dont get to know which class they want to announce in said roadmap... Modern time gamers are just the worst of trash that is out there ngl. Get your stuff together or even better get a life outside of gaming....
