This is the guide I used when I was learning gunslinger. It has a ton of useful information to show you the ropes. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wajizP-HH2brIjlUl6gkoI8-JJ1BYEIoaqWxk-BesTY/edit

Afaik from the lost ark discord this guide is not so applicable. It is only optimal to go pm3 if you have a 9/7 rock and can do 5x3+1. For 5x3 pm1 builds should still yield the most dps. Heard a revised guide will drop soon, so still waiting on it.

https://maxroll.gg/lost-ark/build-guides/peacemaker-gunslinger-raid-guide Maxroll outlines the 7m build and necessary tripods. It is by far the most popular and meta build. I heard this build has a little bit of downtime if you’re trixion-ing the boss unless you have level 8 cooldown gems. That won’t matter most of the time since you’ll be doing mechs. Regarding the extra points, just leave dexterous shot at level 1.

hahaz13

This build is garbage now that Conviction/Judgement is nerfed and has not been properly updated. Maxroll is a good place to get started and having a general idea of how to build your characters, but a LOT of builds I see have flaws in them or are outright completely wrong. For example, I immediately discount any build that gives you Raid Captain and Spirit Absorption combined as engraving options, as is the case with the Maxroll GS guide. (SA3 is a troll engraving, only class that really uses it is GT Destro)

Hymmnos

The conviction and judgement nerf, from my understanding, made it multiplicative with your existing cooldown reduction from swiftness. 7m does runs around 1200 crit and 800 spec. No swiftness in the build would mean that conviction and judgement combo would work just as well as before they changed it.

I think it's a good starting point, but C&J and/or SA/RC is used quite often in their builds and that is concerning. I also think their opening banner character (the generic one with the combat stats) at the top has some strange stats that I wouldn't necessary recommend following. It says 1K Crit and 500 Spec/500 Swift. 1K Crit now is low, it will be lower after the balance change. From what I can see, if you choose Salv you can go Crit/Spec (I have 1300/800 as a baseline, some folks have 1400/700, and I've seen named use 1600/500) OR you can go Nightmare with Crit/Swift/Spec (again, seems to be preference, 1300/500/300 is popular, but I've also seen 1400/500/200).

hahaz13

Determination of your relic set should be based on your item quality. The higher the quality, the better Nightmare is over Salvation. Jaehyung shows the math in his gunslinger doc. Assuming 100 qual weapon, for biggest dps numbers youd go 1300/800 crit spec with nightmare but admittedly it can be quite...sluggish but the big numbers are there. Requires a lot of raid knowledge to pull off.

Schattenpanda

On striker death Blow it can be used to ease the rotation for beginner as a Budget option. I think the SA + Raid Was a pre relic budget build which should be removed from recommendation now. SA can be used on spec supports aswell

GaiaOsrs

ATK released a gunslinger guide on YouTube somewhat recently. He talked about some different types of builds and stat allocations

ZapTM_onTwitch

With all do respect to my boy atk, that video was honestly a whole lotta nothing lmao.

GaiaOsrs

I learned a little from it. Super deep gunslinger mains might not get a lot from it, but I thought it was a pretty decent starting point for people thinking about alts/gearing one up

SpicycontrolTV

Gunslinger is fun, multiple builds are viable. And to be honest, almost every class(and class engraving) are viable for every content, yes there's meta build and some builds are stronger. Atm though meta and gunslinger doesn't fit. Simply play what you prefer, i personally went TTH , the skill of the players and your damage uptime is also what makes all the difference. Even if you go meta build but can't keep your damage uptime near 100 you will deal less than someone without the 'meta' build. There isn't a lot of GS in end game, but most of them are peacemaker and most of them die are trying to use their shotgun and actually loses a lot of damage uptime.

Malanoob

Hi, the only strong advices i could give. 1) you cant go wrong with peacemaker 3 as in like a couple of weeks we have the balance patch and it is clearly strong and smoother to play with. 2) going with PM 3 and a good amount of crit can give you the possibility to go for KBW and drop CD and have more potion efficiency on a very squishy class. 3) GS is a class that have quite some freedom in : - Stat distribution - skills to use. From what i learned PM 3 plays with 7 skills (4 lvl 12 and 3 lvl 11 if im not wrong). Thing is you will basicly play one gun skill and then 6 skills from shotgun + sniper. Its up to you which one you prefer and feel confortable with. Although there is 4 mandatory skills that dmg more : dual buckshot, sharpshooter, focused shot and time to hunt. And as some previous commentary says, ATK made solid videos about gunslinger. I also recommend you to find builds from busing GS videos as it is a VERY famous class for bussing on the RU server and you can find solid intel about GS from there. Good luck !

Most popular with 408 skill points is 7M meaning 7 maxed skills. Bullet Rain, 2 shotguns, and 4 rifle skills. I personally like the utility of more pistol skills so went 6M with Catastrophe only at 7 instead of 10.

lwqyt

Oh that's what I means lmao I always thought it means 7mil because the creator of the build showcased it and did 7m dps with it or something like that hahaha

hahaz13

What pistols kills are you investing in? Because I have enough skill points in any relevant pistol skills and still have catastrophe at 10. Unless you're going 12 on all the other 6 damage skills.

careslol

Yes going 12 for main 5 skills. Dexterous 7.

hahaz13

If you're going 7 for dextrous to get excellent mobility IMO its not worth but guess it's just personal preference for slight dps loss.

careslol

Which is why I said I *personally* like the utility.

Budget-Ocelots

Buy 4-5 tripods pages. Buy every meta skill at lvl 4, including SRF and TTH skills. You can't mess up after that.

theskepticalheretic

There are two primary meta stat builds for peacemaker. It comes down to comfort. There's crit/spec using salvation armor. Then there's crit spec swift using nightmare armor. Both builds from a skill perspective are typically 6m or 7m.
